So, I was sent this link, and I thought it was so interesting, I want to share it with everyone I know (even if only in cyberspace).

    http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/jill_bolte_taylor_s_powerful_stroke_of_insight.html

It's about a neuroanatomist who had a stroke and her experience with losing the function of her left brain, her recovery, and the profound impact it had on her life.

It's kinda long tho. Watch it if you have some time. It's worth it.

    Cheers, boys. icon_smile.gif

Yes, that's a fascinating one. I would highly recommend checking out some of the other talks from TED. The Erin McKean, Dean Kamen, and Dan Dennett presentations are particularly good.

Attending TED is on my checklist of things I'd like to do before I die.

We watched that in my Consciousness and Spiritual Transformation class. I like to think of that class as Defense Against the Dark Arts. However, the video was a great illustration for me of what science is in desperate need of; embodied experiential knowing.

    Beautiful.
