I know this topic was posted before... but it had only one response and i thought maybe a new one would have others reply with more insight.

    Bottom line:

    Conjugated Linoleic Acid

WHo has used it? Happy with results? What brand do you recomend?

It's just another way for the health industry to rape you of your money.

It does make it a bit easier to poop though LOL

I tried it and my 'girlfriend' tried it as well... with a reduced calorie diet and CLA, we both lost quite a bit of weight... I lost about 15 pounds with the diet...

Linoleic acid in it's non-conjugated form is good for you in terms of reducing the "bad cholesterol" in your blood (it's an omega 6 fatty acid) but there seems to be very little proof that conjugated linoleic acid has any real benefit. I personally wouldn't take it. To me it also seems that in terms of biochemistry there is very little reason why it should cause weight-loss.

duglyduckling, your weight-loss most likely was just from the simultaneous modification of you diet.
