My Band (yet to be named) has found a bass player and will probably be gigging in a few weeks; hopefully at the latest by the end of may.

We'll be playing some classic rock with some newer music thrown in, and most likely just going to be in some bars or at some places like Sherlock's Pub, and shit like that.

anyways, if anyone's interested in coming out and hearing some good music when we get together, send me a PM or post in here and I'll keep you all posted on dates and shit.

so far out set list includes
    Breakdown- Tom Petty
    Mary Jane's Last Dance - " "
Feel Like Making Love - Bad Company
    Cold Shot - SRV
    Mustang Sally - The Commitments
    Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd
    Sweet Home Alabama - " "
Two tickets to paradise - Eddie Money
Born to be Wild - SteppenWolf
Hard to Handle - The Black Crowes
    Evil Ways - Santana
Can't get Enough - Bad Comapny
    Cheap Sunglasses - ZZ Top
I'll Be Around - The Spinners
Let it be - Paul McCartney
Rocky Mountain Way - Joe Walsh
    Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton
Knockin on heaven's door - Bob Dylan
brown eyed girl - Van Morrison

    We've been working on some RHCP, Mountain, and Blackfoot as well;
and a bunch of other crap that I can't ever remember until we practice. icon_razz.gif

anyways; there probably won't be any covers at the places we're playing, most likely just going to be some dive bars and what have you.

so if you want info or dates or anything, just let me know, and I'll keep you all up to date.

I'd have gone with Wilson Pickett.

I had a friend who liked The Commitments. I made him a cd with all the originals (or best known versions) and gave it to him. He said they weren't as good as the movie.

Haha. That reminds me of a comment I saw on YouTube video..

"Wtf, wow. The intro sounds a lot like Orgy's Blue Monday"
