The government has issued a recall on Hydroxycut products due to reports of these products causing liver damage. I've seen forum posts on here about Hydroxycut and thought it would be good to let you guys know. Below is the link to the article.

If you are using these products, STOP using them!

Yea, and don't go shopping for similar products. They all contain the same crap.

I've used Hydroxycut and similar products for years. One thing that I finally put together is that my liver enzymes are always out of whack when my regular blood work has coincided with a cycle of Hydroxycut or similar product. My doctors always seemed to think it was alcohol related after ruling out everything else. They were then somewhat skeptical when I told them I rarely drink. I feel a tad vindicated now.icon_biggrin.gif

This is very similar to the ephedrine recall years ago. People who had reactions or ill effects from products containing ephedrine were more than likely over using the product or shouldnt (had high blood pressure) have been using the product from the get go.

This is the same thing that is happening to Hydroxycut. How do we know that the "23 cases" involved didn't have hereditary issues??

I use thermogenics all the time and I will continue to use.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I thought about trying Hydroxycut, but just watched what I ate instead, and got down to the bf% I wanted. I'm just worried about what they're going to say next about the damage Creatine is doing to me.

Maybe she should have been drinking water?? These products are safe if the person using the product is educated on what they are taking and following directions.

I always felt this stuff was crap -- avoided it like the plague.

There's no silver bullet. If you want to lose weight --its nutrition.

Weigh training won't do it. You'll just build more muscle that is hidden by the body fat. The only way to show abs (which everyone has), is to balance protein, carbs, and fat.

If you're into podcasting (like Itunes), check out "Beyond Diet" You'll be fuckin amazed.

I used a thermogenic not this particular one last Fall and dropped 4% bodyfat and achieved an 8 pack at the age of 43. These products do work with diet and exercise. People who say they don't work all full of crap.

So does that mean Stacker 3's with Chitosan are bad, as well? Or are those considered somewhat safe?
