doing pushups and situps every morning

    i was just wondering if its ok to start off every morning doing sit ups and pushups, i know ur suppposed to let urself rest inbetween days and stuff but ive been told that pushups and situps are ok to do everyday, just wondering. thanks

    well my question is why you want to do them. Until we know that it´s a bit hard to say if it´s a good plan or not

    The muscles worked by pushups (chest, back, shoulders, triceps, etc) and situps (abs, obliques, etc) need to be rested and shouldn't be worked every day. Why don't you do alternating days? MWF you do pushups, TThF you do situps, rest Sunday, and then start again?

    well body weight training has a different way of working to weight training, but it does have different goals. In body weight stuff you can work out every day, and do the same exercises....
