after working out last night i took a shower then hit the sack. while channel surfing i came upon this movie "urban cowboy"...with John Travolta....john T was good in the acting but the man meat by the name of Scott Glenn got me thinking nasty thoughts.. hes soo hot. and he still looks good to this day. im gonna start watching more 80s/ 70s movies as the men of that era were so sexy.

    That captures my thoughts perfectly.

We're in the age of the metrosexual, so we're all so used to pretty boys.

Thank you Jebus is all I can say. Almost enough to make me straight.

Now, if you want to feel wistful about men of the past, let me introduce you to Eugen Sandow, born 1867.

Scott Glenn is the FBI boss in Silence of the Lambs, and the American Sub captain in Hunt for Red October, and the FBI boss (again) in the third Jason Bourne film (Bourne Ultimatum I think.) Get them whle they're young!

Now I'm all messed up after looking at those pictures..............but as someone said, the men are being made even better nowdays than before.

Most men look sexier and better as they age, if they take care of themselves. But women are different....to me, most just get older, not sexier as they age.

Lostboy said...Now, if you want to feel wistful about men of the past, let me introduce you to Eugen Sandow, born 1867.

Sandow is often recognized as the first modern example of male bodybuilding. His US promoter was none other than Florenz Ziegfeld, later of the Ziegfeld Follies, on which the musical "Funny Girl" with Barbra Steisand is based.

Ziegfeld exhibited Sandow during the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. Sandow often appeared in public wearing just a fig leaf as shown in Lostboy's pics. 100 years ago male nudity wasn't considered the scandal it is today, with nude swimming & recreation considered normal, that even women could observe without shame. Here's to the good old days! LOL!
