Considering the Hydroxycut news, do you think there will be more similar findings?

So, in light of the findings that Hydroxycut can cause liver damage, do you think that there will be more findings in the future of similar (or worse) side effects from some of the many weight loss and muscle-building and energy-producing and pump-inducing supplements so many guys are using now?

I mean, does anyone, besides chemists, really know what is in these supplements and what they can potentially do to you?

When I was using stuff like Ripped Fuel and other 'burners' I'd get scary heart beats so I stopped. There are other supplements I've used and I wonder if this persistent pain in my side that pops up every now and then is related to any of that. I think I am at the point now where I'm just going to have protein shakes and steer clear of all the other stuff. The risks seem to be outweighing the rewards.

Here is a list of diet pills that the FDA considers dangerous. I have posted this link before.

They need to update their list. Obviously not being on the list does not mean that it is safe. The only what that I have ever heard of on that list is Slim Fast. I'm a little surprised at that one...I have not used it but I just thought that it was a regular diet shake.
