Any thoughts, predictions on who will win it all?
My team is the Lakers and they're looking pretty good right now!

im a die-hard laker fan, but i'd have to disagree with you... i dont think there is anything the lakers can feel good about so far in the playoffs. even in their decent showing tonight, there were large stretches of the game where they couldn't control houston's offense and were not affective at all on their end of the floor.

did you catch the clip when they panned to NBA VP Stu Jackson who will be evaluating D-Fish's flagarant foul? My jaw dropped when I saw my company's CEO sitting/standing directly in front of him.

it would be hard to dismiss the Cavs... they certainly are dominating in every facet, but they just don't feel like a championship. i dunno, its really up in the air here... hopefully the lakeshow will get their act together.

My cousin plays for the Lakers...i can not get into it anymore...all pro sports are overrated and over paid.

GO ROCKETS, GO! We could have won the game tonight just on the number of free throws we missed. Unbelievable! Lakers are on OUR turf now....

Lakers will be fine. They'll win this series in six, beat Denver in the conference finals before the big show. Honestly, I think LeBron's going to need to average 35 to beat LA. Right now my mind's with the Lakers, but the Cavs have looked pretty awesome so far.

If you think the Celtics have already been making for great story, just wait.

I think the Nuggets should get some love but I don't think it will matter. The Cavs look like they are clicking at every level right now.

Laker fan also. My prediction is it's going to be Laker vs. Cav finals. I have no idea who's going to win. Lebron is playing great ball but he hasn't been tested.

Well the series is now tied and they're playing in LA right? Unfortunately I think the lakers will win the series. My dad and I always cheer against them, mainly because of Kobe... he's way too damn good.
Oh yeah and Scola is the shit lol.

Did anyone see the tussel between him and Fisher? Who do you think would win in a fight? Fisher is built like a bull dog but I think Scola would have some serious Euro-Scrap in him.

these are not bright days to be a laker fan. nonetheless, once we dispose of houston (which, kudos to them, have played excellent) then we can start a-fresh and go full tilt vs. denver

nuggets in seven, cavs in six...we'll get the real 'melo vs lebron rivalry instead of the made up media rivalry of kobe vs lebron

Was ridiculous. I was at that game too, it was the loudest thing I've ever heard at Q after he made that shot.

Oh don't worry, the Magic are winning this series. My boys showed them what time is was last night?

Magic win again and only need one more! Lets see how fast the networks either pull those Lebron and Kobe puppet commercials ( disrespectful foreshadowing of who they think should be in the finals) or lo and behold suddenly add a Dwight Howard or Chauncey Billups puppet!!! Go Nuggets tonight ..handle your business!

Because puppets are serious business....

Those two are, without a doubt, the two most recognizable players in the playoffs. Maybe that could have been a factor for the commercials... but foreshadowing? Ok Nancy Drew.

Tonight will def. be a win for us at home... let's hope we'll bring back another after that and then once we're back it'll be in the bag.

9th team to come back from a 3-1 deficit in NBA playoff history? I think yes.

(P.S. I'm saying all this as a proud Clevelander/CAVS fan. No disrespect intended).

How about my Lakers, eh??
Would really enjoy seeing a Kobe-Lebron finals like the majority of people out there, but we just may end up seeing one side of that. Im liking LA's chancing of finishing it off in Denver, but we'll see.
If Lebron can bring his team back from this deficit, then id give him huge props. He does need help though. I dont see him pouring in 40-50 points and the rest of his team not contributing and getting to the finals.
Good luck to the remaining teams, but a tad bit more for kobe and co.

I cant stand the Lakers (Kobe) or the Cavs (Lebron). So I want a Magic vs. Nuggets final.

So upset. If the Celtics were all healthy we would be in the finals.

Its great to see the Championship is going to be about the BEST TEAMS and not the BEST PLAYERS........... Lebron is awesome but Cleveland as a team is not better than the Magic! Go Magic!!!!!

Lakers VS Magic will be great!!! Season record Magic 2-0 against the Lakers
Jun 01, 2009 4:15 PM GMT
Lakers in 5.
The regular season record is out of the picture.
It's all about how well your team plays in a 7 game series.
With the addition of possibly having Nelson back for the magic
has me a little concerned, but still think the lakers will take care
of business! I can't see Kobe going out like last year.

The Lakers have no answer for a quick pg, (though Rafer makes up for speed with dumb mistakes )nor can they really defend Howard all that well. Without Nelson we're a little undermanned against them, but if Lamar Odom doesn't play to his potential (again), we can win this thing. Orlando in 6 baby!!!

what the hell is a "vandalism event"? 'ha', you're an idiot.

there are 10,000,000 people in Los Angeles... so a couple hundred started bonfires and turned over shit, why is this a story?
Jun 19, 2009 12:36 AM GMT
Well there you have it guys!
I called it just as it turned out.
Congrats to the Magic for getting to the NBA finals.
A tad bit more for my Lakers for getting it done this year.
I SO WISH I COULDVE ATTENDED THE PARADE!!!
Let's do it again next year
Jun 22, 2009 10:07 PM GMT
If we can get Lamar Odom, we'll be taking that trophy next year. I just tweeted him haha
Aug 12, 2009 6:01 PM GMT
Yes! We not got Odom back and I couldn't be happier.
Pretty much same group except Artest in for Ariza.
With the addition to Jefferson in S.A., Ron will be much needed.
CANT WAIT!!!!! GO LAKERS
Aug 12, 2009 6:51 PM GMT
That sucks royally for the rest of the league, stupid Trevor Ariza! I just knew Lamar would be going to Miami, who can resist that city? No offense, but I hope Artest implodes next year' it's pretty much the only way for them to lose
