I bought one of those digital frames, and i scanned all of the old photos of my family, and when she first turns it on, my family recorded a video of us reading a poem I wrote for her followed by a loud happy mother's day =)

You guys are so lucky to have a mom - I lost my mom when I was 14. My gift for her is to live my life the best that I could as I promised her. My family and I always gather on Mother Day, go to mass together, then go visit my mom at the cemetery and have lunch together. It's the least we can do to remember her.

Thank you very much. I'm lucky to have such a loving family, and I will give them my heart if I have to. But to those with a mom, treat her the best you can because there are people who will give anything to spend a day with mom and can't.

I'm making her breakfast and I'll attempt to maintain a smile the entire time. That's about it.

My whole family is taking her up north this weekend to spread my Dad's ashes at his favorite places. Not really my first choice as a gift but that is what she wants for mothers day.

I already started my gift for my mom. I'm helping her around the yard. Today I pulled weeds. Then the next few days I get to plant flowers/shrubs. Fill in part of her pond with some dirt that was dumped in the drive way (I get to use a bobcat to do most of it). Help her get her kitchen organized agian since she had it remodeled. And a few other things around the house.

Oh, and a card + flowers.
