It's the clay court season of tennis, which means Federer's dominance in the game is challenged by Rafael Nadal - who hasn't lost a clay-court match since April of '05.

Federer won his 500th career match today to advance to the semis of the MonteCarlo Masters. Nadal will try and join him in the semis later today by beating Philipp Kohlschreiber.

Should be an amazing final on Sunday. You know Roger was this one bad to set the tone for the '07 Clay Court season and put out the word that the French is his to win.

Roger has a very good chance in the final since the courts at Monte Carlo are playing quite fast.

Having said that, Rafa will face his nemesis, Berdych, although it will be on Rafa's surface. Furthermore, Roger has a very challenging match against the former clay king, Ferrero. I think that if both players get to the final, Roger will win. However, both players will have to conquer some demons to get there.

Now that Federer and Nadal are in the final. I would have to give the edge to Nadal because of his confidence, he record against Federer on this surface, and Federer's slightly less than perfect plays in the past few months. However, Federer's weeks off in the past few months means that he maybe fresher than Nadal. Also, Federer is desparate to win this title before the French Open. My wish is for Federer to win this so that he has more confidence to capture the French Open. You know what I will be doing this Sunday.
