I'd like to know everyone's fav animals.

Mine are monkeys. Not apes, just monkeys. I love them. Taking biological anthropology only cemented this for me. I got a growing collection of stuffed ones

other than dogs....not sure maybe the Koala...for their cute and cuddliness or the Cheetah for its endurance and speed.

As an animal trainer, I work with capuchin monkeys - to train them as service animals for paraplegic people (have a look at the video in my profile). I find monkeys fascinating (both as service animals and in the wild), but no matter how much I work with them, I harbor a fear of them in the back of my head.

So my favorite domestic animals are dogs and horses.

In the wild I have many favorites: falcons, gorillas, wolves, giraffes, zebra, hippos, manatees, dolphins.

    Domesticated-Dogs

Wild-Hammerhead Sharks (specifically the Scalloped Hammerhead) This species is rare among sharks in that they swim in schools, not uncommonly hundreds at a time, leading to absolutely stunning pictures. The "hammer" makes them look especially cool. Plus, they are among only a handful of animals in the whole world to "tan" themselves.

That's hard, its between the wolf and panther... Leader of the pack or warrior that travels alone.. So much power and so beautiful.

    Lion.

When I was younger, I would stay up really late at night if I knew that there was gonna be something about lions on the Discovery Channel. I really enjoy watching the lionesses either hunt or the whole pride fighting with the hyena clans. They would make for some powerful scenes.

    A close second would be...squirrel.
