Eating before my workout class

    Hi Guys:

    I started taking Tae Kwon Do classes in January. I'm now going 4 times a week. The classes are at 8 pm, which with my work schedule, means that I'm generally having dinner AFTER class. I usually eat lunch around 1:30, so I have a snack about 1 1/2 hours before class. I've been eating a yogurt, which seemed okay in the beginning, but as the intensity of the classes has gotten higher, I seem to be petering out with regard to my energy.

    If those of you on similar schedules, could offer me some better snack ideas, I'd really appreciate it.

    Get something with a bit more protein and fit in it. Like have your yogurt, and some cheese and whole grain, trans-fat free crackers. You'll get a nice blend of all the things you need. Throw in some fruit too! You're body will rapidly break that down.
