After so many hours cooped up in the library studying for finals, I finally took a break to watch the only honest, hard-hitting news program available today: The Onion News.

It seems significant advances have been made to dull-down the moods of those who are excessively happy. Full coverage of the story is posted below:

Once again, it really seems like The Onion is the only news station to step up and cover such a controversial issue. Does anyone else have any favorite news stories, as reported by The Onion?

That's funny, but in reality overly cheerful people are the least of our problems. There certainly isn't an overabundance of them.

On the contrary, most people seem fairly morose and make very little effort to be friendly, charming or personable. I wish more people were "annoyingly happy."

Hysterical. If only this were true. Member of the "Pleasant Police" need to be brought down a peg. I'm sick of them saying that something is "the cat's pajamas" and answering requests with "I certainly can!" and a big smile. I want my friends and co-workers to be just as pissed as I am.
