Which career do you find sexy?

I'm going to law school next year, but I think it would be really hot to be with a guy that is an architect. I think it has to do with their ability to create and design. I can just imagine stimulating conversation and general passion as a result of doing that kind of work everyday. What about y'all?

well I can tell you, being a lawyer isn't a sexy profession..

Mind you I think the more attractive jobs are the ones involving hard physical labor.. like builders, fireman and that sort of stuff..

they also have the better hands

Not the practice of law! I can speak from experience.
What could be less sexy than getting up in the morning and choosing which shade of dark gray suit you're going to wear?

What a question, it amazing how many people like those in uniform, but I used to wear one and it’s not always so comfy... so I sheared the blues and went to business casual. It’s more comfortable… but now I gotta pay for the work cloths..lol

I'm thinking that whoever was the casting director for all of the extras in "Queer As Folk," had a pretty sweet job.

It's all relative and personal, there are numerous people out there who find some litigators sexy - it depends on the person underneath. If you're one of those fighting for the small guy, protector of the underdog types, or devoting a chunk of your life to seeing justice is heard for a class of ill-treated people, I can see the sex-appeal in that. Just as you say you're attracted to architects for their vision and desire to create lasting monuments and statements which people see and work or live in everyday. It's the idea behind the profession, not the profession itself.

I'm an Architect! :-) Does that make me sexy? icon_eek.gif

I've more heard of it described as a cool job...or fun job, which it has its moments.

There's an old Chinese curse that goes "May you have an interesting life". When you stop and think about it you realize that "interesting", while great to hear about, usually sux to actually go through. I work E.R. weekend nights. My job is very interesting...but sometimes...it sucks.

Makes for great stories tho. Even if sometimes you really DON'T want to tell em.

Is interesting the same as sexy?

    I dunno.

    As In Landscape Architecture?

On that note, I'm gonna say being a Landscape Architect is sexy for purely selfish reasons.

Too cool!! Every landscaper I've met has been extremely fun and upbeat from my experiences. Being a gardener, it's only natural for me to find that sort of creativity fascinating.

If you owned your own business, that'd be even hotter...

I think jobs that people think they have some idea of what they do and that pay well are usually considered sexy. I find some politicians sexy, doctors (sometimes), lawyers, teachers, professors, businessmen. Generally I just find smarts attractive and those jobs take intelligence to one degree or another.

Whereas my job, though very different, wouldn't really be considered 'cool' per say since it takes a while to explain what I do.

Completely personal choice, but anyone that works creatively, musicians, artists, architects, landscape design, interior design even... I just like the creativity involved in it, wouldnt mind having a job like that either though, lol
