Ok so you see someone on the street whose profile you've seen on RJ. Do you go up and say, "Hi, I know you from RJ would you like to have a drink?"

That's never happened to me, but if I thought he was attractive, why the hell not?

i've said "Hi" and introduced myself to a couple of guys I recognize from this site.
    That's part of being social.

I don't know if I'd recognize someone off the street based off a photo here, I'm generally pretty clueless.

Depends. I think if I saw some of the guys in real life I´d hyperventilate and fall over.

Well I guess it would break the ice.

the only guy I offically met was RAWR but we planned to meet up. I saw Dr. Storm once but in San Francisco you don't dare talk to a guy if he is in the middle of his group.

Not even buy shotting a wink to show interest and hopefully pry him from his buddies?

Once I had an awkward approach to someone at a bar. After that disaster I've scaled back to a simple hello.

Yes, as in I would acknowledge that person by a nod or a gesture if we recognized each other from here.

If I knew the person through conversation, yes.

Would I walk over if I had saw any Realjock member? No. It would just be a bit weird for me.

Personality is definitely the key here. Introvert vs. Extrovert

I would def. say hi. As for asking him out for a drink, well now, that really depends on the member. Clearly there are some members here that I feel our personalities are much too strong to ever meet.
It would be a disaster waiting to happen. icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

I haven't yet. I usually see RJer's from school when we are both running between classes, so there it isn't the right time for a casual hello. There is one RJ'er who had a class in the same classroom I had a lecture in every Tuesday last semester, and I saw him every week as we entered and his class left. I always meant to take the time to introduce myself, but I thought it would look like I was trying to hit on him.

Is that why you haven't come up to me to say hi when you know I'm at Badlands? icon_wink.gif I've come up to guys that I've recognized on the site here in SF. Just a simple "hey, how goes it" and if they don't recognize me I just say "We know each other on RJ"

I've only met a few guys, and they've all been at school. Random meetings in they gym or while hanging out in the engineering buildings
But being as shy as i am... I probably wouldn't say hi... i would just gaze from afar haha

I sometimes wear my RJ logo T-shirt to the gym, but haven't seen any others worn there, despite it being about 98% gay. Nor has anyone approached me about mine, but then I'm old, fat & ugly. Still, it would be fun to meet an RJ member I haven't before, and I'd certainly say hello to him if I see the RealJock logo.

I've only seen one guy from here in person who I didn't know before he joined this site. I nodded at him from across the gym, and sent him a message on here either that day or the day after, just to be friendly. I figured going out of my way to try to say hello in person would crossing from the realm of "Oh, I recognize you" into "Creepy stalker land", given that he's a lot younger than me and I wasn't pursuing dating him.

I see quite a few guys who I recognize from their profiles both on the street and at the gym, but have never talked to them online. I would never walk up and start talking "hey, I saw your profile online" because I wouldn't want to be that creepy guy. If it's someone I regularly talk to, then I probably would though.

But hey, how 'bout you buy me that drink icon_wink.gif

No. I would not. I had awkward situation with a guy from a different site previously. Not gonna happen again. icon_lol.gif

Besides, most guys don't want to meet with anyone unless they've previously chatted. So, I don't want to seem like a creepy stalker guy.

However, in my profile, I encourage people to say Hello if they recognize me. icon_cool.gif

He was 18. I tend to keep to my age 5-6 years. Teenagers have been out of the running for a while now. ;)

Of course, i'v recognized an RJ member in a hotel lounge in the meatpacking district..He was so cute!!! I waited until he was alone then i approched him, I told him who i was and how i remembered him..
OMG,he hugged me so tight and was really happy to meet me..Of course he introduced me to his buddies and told them how we know each other, we did patron shots and got a little drunk too.... but It was a cool expierience, his friends were really nice.......I'v invited them to the Varvatos party during fashion week..
Then other guy i saw from RJ was cool too, he had some big handsicon_wink.gif
