My partner and I are thinking of doing the Mediterranean cruise later this summer. It starts off in Rome with ports of call in Alexandria, Rhodes, Mykonos, Santorini, Naples and back to Rome. A ten day worldwind, but I have never been on a cruise before, nevermind a gay one, nor have been to any of these cities. Thought it would be a fun and different way of vacationing.
Has anyone ever gone on one of these? Any recommendations and/or thoughts would be greatly appreciated...Thanks!

It really depends on you guys.

If your interest is in the ports, you can do the same cruise for less money on a 'standard' (i.e., non-gay charter) cruise.

If your interest is being around other gay folk and having the opportunity to enjoy the parties that Atlantis brings onboard, it'll be a good fit.

If you or your BF are the extremely jealous types, you might consider that there WILL be eye candy.

Ten days to do all those ports and all those parties? Red Bull and sublingual B-12 might help. icon_lol.gif

1,000 times yes! I've been on 5 cruises with Atlantis and have had the best experiences and have met some of the greatest people. In fact, I've done the Med cruise twice (you will LOVE Santorini)!

Don't worry about the whole 'it's just a floating bath house' stigma. The cruise will be exactly what you want it to be. If you guys are into playing around, that will be more than available to you. If you guys don't play at all and just want to relax and enjoy the ports, you'll find a great group to hang with who are into exactly the same thing.
