Hi i'm 21 years old, only been with one guy off and on. One time in our relationship I did let him fuck me without a condom. Later I found out he was cheating on me with a girl. After our relationship i've experienced some itching around my anus maybe only like once a day and it only lasts for about 5 seconds. I check down there daily and never see any bumps or anything. I have gotten an HIV test and i'm negative. But I'm wondering is there an STD or what?

Go to a fucking doctor.

Always wear condoms.

Agreed, only a doctor who examines you in person is competent to advise you. No personal medical advice you get online from non-professionals has much value. And don't you EVER have anal sex without a condom again!

Erm... it could be ascaris.

And wtf, didn't your gay grandmomma fairy ever tole you TO ALWAYS HAVE SAFE SEX?! I mean seriously.

Especially with guys who you aren't even in monogamous relationships with!!! Jeez.

And yeah. Go to a fucking doctor. As in... right now. Better the embarrassment than having to wait for it (if you do have it) to get worse (and much harder to treat).

First, let me say that everyone who has browbeat you for not using condoms during casual sex is 100% correct. I think that gay men need to encourage each other to have safer sex in all casual encounters and guys who enjoy bottoming need to stay strong in the face of pressure from a top to go bare.

But, what you're describing doesn't sound like anything serious. A little itching around the asshole is not likely to be anything. That said, if it is persistent go see a doctor. There are many other STIs, bacterial infections, fungus, etc. that can cause itching.

Being a hypochondriac myself, I can't imagine how you've stayed away from the doctor this long.

It doesnt sound as if you have an STD, maybe you need to just wash your ass more often? But go to a doctor just in case.

1) Agree with everyone else. It was a very poor decision to bareback. Yes you have 1 partner, but he's not monogamous, and you don't know his health history.

2) Having gone through a period of my life where I was with multiple partners in very short periods of time (always played with a condom though), if you are not used to it, you can get minor tears in your anus (entry ways for hiv and disease). These begin to itch due to the unclean nature of the anus. I suggest you buy some preparation H and squirt it up there and go to sleep. Also see a doctor. You also should have used a lot more lube. I don't care if you have the runs for a while after, it's better than ripping things open.

I am surprised that no one has considered you might have hemorrhoids. They, in themselves can cause itching. Being brutally fucked can cause them.
