Good stuff. I take it daily. It helps the body to process fat and at the same time preserve muscle.

How does NSI® Tonalin® XS-CLA work?

Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is a naturally-occurring fatty acid that, when used as part of a regular diet and exercise program, supports healthy weight management. It does so because it is able to prevent fat cells from accumulating and storing excess fat by inhibiting the actions of an enzyme known as lipoprotein lipase. CLA may also help increase lean muscle mass, allowing the body to burn more fat calories, which may result in even more slimming.
NSI® Tonalin® XS-CLA is a patented, clinically-proven CLA formula derived from safflower seeds, premium dietary sources of the nutrient. Each convenient, single softgel serving delivers 72-82% CLA, up to 35% higher than other brands.

In addition to its weight management benefits, NSI® Tonalin® XS-CLA is an effective antioxidant, helping protect the body from the damaging effects of free radicals, unstable molecules that attack healthy cells and may lead to numerous chronic health concerns and premature aging. This dietary supplement may also strengthen and fortify the immune system.

NSI® Tonalin® XS-CLA is better because it:
- Is a patented, clinically-proven formula derived from a potent, quality source
- Does not contain harmful stimulants
- Provides exceptional quality at extraordinary value

I just take it after a chemist highly recommended it. I think the results are good. It's not that expensive and I get mine at http://www.vitacost.com

"All told, I see no advantage to taking CLA supplements at this time for weight loss or anything else.

I've been taking 3 capsules of 800mg before workouts. I feel more energy reserves for a longer workout....so perhaps that alone has helped me lose fat.

But whatever the means, it seems to work for me.

If you're interested in increasing CLA in your diet without taking pills, try grass finished beef, pastured chicken, or eggs from pastured hens. Hard to find these things without knowing a rancher, but it can be done. Check this out to see the nutritional benefits of these products. I've not ordered from this website, just pointing to the nutritional information and associated references.
