I know I have bulging veins in my arms which concerns me less than the ones at my temples that, I think, look horrible when I'm in the weight room or even when drink or get a case of anxiety. I get very self-conscience about this... VERY. Any way of easing the blood rushing to my head so I don't look so freakish?

Just assume that you're getting a great blood supply to the arms and to the brain. Both freakishly huge. What could be better?

I have that problem too because I'm a musician as well (whenever I look at all my friends, especially the ones that practice a lot, their veins always seem to be huge). I don't really know how to "fix" it, but my parents always said not to wash your hands with cold water after you've worked them out (or ironed clothes) - may just be an old wives' tale, but then again, you'll never know.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vascularity

Some bodybuilders find that an extremely desirable trait to develop!

It's not exactly a vascularity problem, but I used to be perpetually flushed red. My blood would rush to my face, which would get absurdly hot, even if the rest of me was freezing. A friend recommended an acupuncturist, who helped get my body temperature under control and has kept my face from getting flushed. Perhaps acupuncture could help regulate your blood flow as well?

Although really, I agree with the others... vascularity can be really masculine and hot. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

thanks, I mean, I do think veins in certain places are sexy (and feel damn good too!) but I'm just concerned with the ones at my temples. I wonder if I could get health insurance for an acupuncture treatment. I could use some body heat regulating.

It's the body fat percentage. When you're extremely thin and have a low b/f percentage everything shows up through you skin - muscle sinews and yes... veins.
