I like the first one 'cuz I want something dressy I can wear with slacks, but the b/f says I'll look like Shaft.

    I agree
The first one is more dressy
But as far the BF goes
Just don't wear the first one with the platform shoes icon_cool.gif

The first one - is the best look - best cut. Lose the second one - it looks like something from the left over sale rack of vinyl coats at Walmart for $29.95.

Perhaps I'm not a good gay or I'm misguided, but I'm grossed out by that first one. I guess my theory is that if one is wearing clothing that is too dressy for the second one, I would just ditch the leather and go with something more appropriate. I just don't like the lines/shape of the first one.

I think, really, it all depends on the guy wearing the jacket. If you're more broad shouldered, and going for something dressy, go for the first one, but if you're doing casual stuff, and more of the athletic type where you're just chilling out, I'd say go for the second one.

Personally, I think lapels on a leather jacket seems a little gauche, and would lean toward the 2nd one in an instant, but in the end, it all depends on the guy underneath the clothes. If you think you look good in it, then chances are you probably do.

Especially you, Beaux. Very good, indeed.

    Neither.
Both of them are so International Male circa 1998!
Something a little short and form fitting, like a biker jacket (no, not the Michael Jackson multizippered crap!) or a bomber jacket in black leather.
If you can find a two or one button tailored cut leather blazer, that would be better.
All of these jackets can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. And check out thrift stores; you'd be pleasantly surprised at what you'd find there.
If you'd like to go designer, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana and Hugo Boss makes these kinds of jackets i've suggested.
    Have fun shopping!

I see his crack omg. And I'm not grossed out! ROFL

Anyway, same as dannyboy, I find the first one creepy. The lapels make it look a bit costumish. But then again... it's leather. But yeah, I like the second one better. Makes you look more approachable.

I dont like the jacket. If you want something dressy I would look into a nice blazer.

It's a kinda cheat because the second coat's got a cute guy in it...

That said, my vote's for the first one.

I like the first one, rare to see a leather blazer. But depending on the height, like for me, I would go with the cut, but longer length say mid thigh. As to the second one, everyone has some sort of bomber cut and it only looks best with jeans, to me.

IF I had to choose, i'd prefer the second.

However, i think you could find better leather jackets.

While I am known for dressing somewhat conservately (dressy sometimes) I still like the second one.

The first one is kinda of half way between somewhat dressy and somewhat casual and it doesn't do a good job at being eclectic. Just my 2 fashion cents.

The first jacket is a few sizes too big for the model wearing it...

These jackets are a similar style and fit the models properly - I like the look!

^ Agree. They definitely look sleeker with the lapels a bit thinner. It fitted like a trench coat for the guy beaux posted originally.

I like this one and agree with Sed, it looks much better than the one I found at top. (But damn, they don't have my size...just small and some really, really big ones. D'oh.)
