There are no "missed connections"

    "Missed Connections" is going to be new oxymoron.

    If a connection happens in real time between at least two people, how can it exist without the other person. All you would have a wish to meet a person you were attracted to, but didn't approach; at least in my mind.

    How true. Nevertheless try getting this message to all those people who post on Craigslist in the delusive hope that because their eyes met those of some passer-by for 2 seconds a deep bond must have been forged.

    I gotta be honest and say that I have perused the Missed Connections sometimes to see if a guy I had made a connection with somewhere might have felt the same way. It actually has happened a couple of times, both with an ad I saw that was for me and an ad I posted. Most of the time though it's just wishful thinking. icon_lol.gif

    And THAT'S okay too!
