So cheese has to be one of my favorite things ever. What are your favorite cheeses and what are the ways you like to use them when you eat and cook?

My favorites are Brie, Goat, Feta, Parmesan, Mozzarella, American, Jack, Asiago, and Ricotta.

Goat and Feta I use in salads and pastas quite often. Parmesan goes on/with any/everything.

The right kind of Jack tastes amazing with apples, try it...

Brie, need I say more?

Oh gosh! I am going to make bagel with cream cheese and turkey. You are making me hungry.

Oh I love Goat and Feta in my salad too... Parmesan will be great on my pizza, spaghetti, and Lasagna.

omfg i hate cheese

It's so disgusting, pus-like, noxious smelling, runny, sticky. yuck, I'm almost gagging thinking about it

strangley enough I like pizza and cheese sticks, but nothing else cheese related; I don't even like cheese cake or cream cheese because they have the word cheese in them.

if jesus were made of cheese he would be called cheesus. he'd be made of swiss and he'd be holier than thou XD

You should try Roquefort then, The big daddy of all Blue Cheeses.

I Love almost all cheeses, except sharp cheddars... never got a taste for it.

Soft brie on a warm baguette.. HEAVEN!

Don't eat cheese very often anymore, but one of my favorites is Stilton. I got some infused with lemon peel at Costco a while back and it was heavenly.

Cheese is one of my favorite foods. And like many of my favorite foods, I never have it because it is really, really off of my diet. But on those rare occasions when I have a party or guests for dinner, a cheese plate is wonderful. I just found the most wonderful Sage Derby and a local grocery store started carrying local, raw milk cheeses that are to die for.

Cow's milk cheese messes me up, but I love a little sheep or goat's milk feta in my salad or on my sauteed spinach.

I just bought two new ones at Whole Foods: Fontina and Kaltbach.

Try them, amazing with Wheat Thins.

I've been hooked on double cream gouda. It makes a great grilled cheese sandwich, macaroni & cheese (with some sharp cheddar), and gouda and spinach souffle.

I love cheese!!! All the ones you mentioned are great!
One of my favorites is a tun melt: sourdough bread, a sharp cheddar (any well aged) and tuna fish in olive oil...

Cheese is my biggest problem in keeping my weight down because I love it so much !

Trader Joes and Whole foods have the BEST selection of wonderful yummy cheeses BUT at our local Farmer's markets have some great hard Gouda from Winchester cheese Company YUM!

I love all the types of hard cheeses mostly like Gouda, Cheddar and others along with Blue and Swiss.

OMFG

I love cheese so much--it is delicious. I love bread and brie.

I just got around to watching Supersize Me last night. One of the addiction professionals Morgan Spurlock interviewed mentioned casomorphines, which he explained are an addictive opiate found in dairy proteins. I wonder how much cheese someone needs to eat to be addicted?

Need I say that I love cheese?

Port Salut I think is my favourite.Stinking Bishop is lovely but pricey, has an unfortunate name though. My local lincolnshire poacher is very good too.

I enjoy cheese in moderation because of the saturated fat

There are fat free varieties. But I must admit that they are not as flavorful as the real thing.

+1 on Derby with sage.
No matter how big a wedge I buy, I'll end up slicing off some as a snack 2-3 times per day and soon enough the whole thing is gone.

My other favorite snack cheeses are the dry nutty swiss/gruyere family.

As far as in food, a nice soft Havarti Dill added to an omelette about 40 seconds before you take it off the stove is nice, although absolutely nothing beats eggs and a warm oozing brie with carmelized onions.

Any cheese lovers in Austin, TX, must go to House Pizzeria and get the Blue with sausage -- tangy Stilton and a port reduction plus the perfect protein yum of sausage on an extremely satisfying crust -- it's heaven.

Well ever heard of microwave brocolli and cheese?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olBgFvo_ogk

slice broccoli up

crumble / grate the cheese

put the two together on a deep plate

spring a little bit of water

put a thin plate on top so that the steam doesn't go away.

put it at the microwave for 2 minutes and half

?????

Profit!

I love love love cheese. I remember when I was still in Germany (i was 5 years old) my oma got me the large baby bell cheese ( It has the red wax on it) and it's like the size of a grown mans hand. 20 minutes later it was all gone. My mom and oma were shocked and I was happy until a few hours later on the toilet.
