Powerpoint BS

    This might be the wrong place to ask but powerpoint has been kickin' my ass since 4am this morning. I cannot, for the life of me, get music to work in there. I'm trying to embed them as wave files icon_evil.gif I tired as Mp3s icon_sad.gif and it won't let me in the itune format...I don't know what to do...Halp?

    I presume you checked that your computer is capable of making sounds from other sources, not a matter of the volume muted or some other resident sound issue?

    Yup, playing videos in the background on youtube to prevent me from throwing my computer.

    I'm completely illiterate when it comes to Powerpoint so I don't know what I'm talking about. I googled your problem about embeding and found an article that says mp3 files cannot be embedded, only linked.

    itunes format? Powerpoint doesn't support M4P, especially if your music has DRM. It only supports WAV files. And it can only embed MP3 by hacking the file header, like in the link kneedraggen posted.
