thanks for the advice guys, I will definitely remove the hammer
it was only intended to put the screws on the top bar anyway. There are tons of things I will have to improve for sure. Most critiques have been 100% right on.
According to the swf on the website and the guys who complain about it, theres nothing wrong with having a flash based navigation in 2009, connections are fast enough to support it. Besides I always include an XML file with all the mapping info so the search engines can spider all links propperly, so thats not even a problem, unless the fact that the animation takes a few second to show the buttons but once the hammer be removed and the start up time reduced, itll be twice faster.
Finally, what I do is custom design, so if the customer wants animations I have to give him animations and trust me, they pay WAYmore for those. Please I would like the critique to be focus on the graphic design and not anything else guys.
I have made other websites and they are totally different like this full flash based sitehttp://stephanechalifour.com/
or this XHTML/CSS/JS onehttp://www.ramzprod.com/en/index.php
it all depends on what the customer wants
