    hey guys, been going to the gym for about 3 months now and I can see a real improvement on what I was like before but its so much more obvious on my left side then my right, I don't know why this is any be able to help?

    I'm guessing that if you are left handed that it might just be normal.

    It is normal for the dominant arm to be stronger. If you are not left handed there is something weird going on. There is a problem called hemihypertrophy where one limb may be larger than the opposite. This tends to be a pediatric problem however.
    When you use a barbells, what can happen is that the dominant side is doing most of the work and getting stronger. If you use dumbbells, this will not happen.
