Red Wings won game 1, 3-1.
What's your opinion on the rest of the series?
I think the Wings will win it in 5...the Penguins will put up some sort of a fight, right??

Detroit is just more talented overall as a team. It'd be nice to see someone else win but, they could probably put traffic cones instead of a goalie and still win it, with that defense. Pittsburgh has the two offensively gifted fellas, but frankly, they don't show up every night.

I left for dinner when the score was tied, checked the final score, and flipped a biscuit... Detroit played well last night but I'm still cheering for my men - GO PENS!

As long as the Pens can manage to split these first two games away, and win the game tonight in Detroit...they should be in good shape. I'm calling Pittsburgh in 7.

Go Pens! Only cause Crosby is sooo hot!

There's no one else who skates like Crosby, who is in good company with a very good team. Look at how he navigates through a forest of red to make a shot every time.

However, as much as the Pens try to be tough, the Wings just are tough. They're talented, disciplined and they look like they've done this a hundred times. When you've got a rookie fourth-liner in Abdelkader scoring his first two playoff goals in two consecutive Stanley Cup final games, the Wings showed how deep they are. And they're as riddled with injuries as any, with Datsyuk, Draper, Lilja etc. all out with no timeline as to when they'll return.

Granted, the Wings seemed a tad luckier than the Pens, who've put on a more impressive effort than they did last year. But it doesn't help that Crosby can't seem to shake off Zetterberg and co., or that Fleury just keeps making mistakes.

All who doubted the Wings for being old, tired and injured don't know the Wings very well. Hossa chose the right team to win a Stanley Cup. At the risk of jinxing them, I call Wings in 6.

The Cup is not in Detroit. WooHoo!

Fluery has been less than stellar, but he came up HUGE when it mattered! That's what makes a great tender
