So, my 22nd birthday is weeks away as i wind down the partying phase of my life and enter the serious part...so to speak. A year ago my room mate got me P 90 X so I can work out at home while i have such a busy schedule. I did it for a few weeks but this stuff IS TOUGH! It demands discipline and time management as well as eating right, which is hard when I'm a broke college student and can only afford Ramen most of the time haha.

Anyways I may be needing some motivation throughout this, whether some of you have or haven't done an intense workout like this before. Before I continue though I want to run through what P90 X is...

It is a 90 day program put together by Trainer Tony Horton. The fitness program goes through 3 different phases for three different months. The program comes with a book (literally) giving all the information I need as far as nutrition and getting started. There's a lot of good information in this book I'm tellin ya.

I went out and got some weights and a pull up bar and that was all I needed. So I'm posting this for inspiration and motivation. I'll be posting pics throughout the ninety days. So help me out boys! Thanks!

You can do it. I've done it. If you want the body you have to work for it, everyday.

P90 is wonderful. I makes me so happy that people are getting back into shape with it.

    I'm a P90X user as well...LOVE IT!

It is a lot of work. But, once you put in the time and get in to a routine it get's easier. I noticed greater results when I really watched and followed the diet. Eat what they say, when they say and drink your water. Write down everything that you do...reps, how it felt, if you need to increase your weights, etc.

Go to beachbody.com and sign up. You can schedule and track your workouts. I highly recommend it! Lots of support there.

I suggest doing the program without the supplied music. It makes the routines seem longer.

There are other threads here to read...

    Have fun and enjoy!
