*Keep in mind that I do not want to be attacked and remember the golden rule: If you can not say anything nice, do not say anything at all.*

I believe in the supernatural, the other worldly, and in most all of the fantasy creatures out there. I have been through some things that have proven the existence of God, Angels, Demons, and Lucifer. (I would go into detail, but one man's proof is another man's story and I do not see it being handled well by many people on here.)

Lately some weird things have been happening. I have no roommate in my dorm and somehow things are being moved around. Things that were on my desk are somehow on the other desk. Things are moved from the ground to my bed. My closet doors are in a different formation than I left them. All this weird stuff is going on.

You know how dog's feet sound on tile when their claws tap it? I have heard a sound like that many times. It starts in a corner, then works its way up the wall, across the ceiling, down the other wall, over my carpet and then back to the original spot.

Over the three day weekend, I was in my dorm the entire time. My friends were away and I figured I could use it to catch up with all my classes and such. So I did. I only left for food and bathroom breaks. There was no time for any one to come in unnoticed. Not maintenance, not the RA's, not a new room mate, no one. On Tuesday, I looked at my sink as I was getting ready for the day. The cold water handle was broken. It was as if someone had just tried to pull it up and off. I had to bash it back on. When I turned it, the water came out as if there was no water. I turned it to full blast and there was still barely any water coming out of it. So I turned it off and just settled for the warm water that never got hot. Without thinking, I turned the cold water just a hair and it was like Niagara Falls. I felt the water and it was like fire. Steam was rising and the water was actually bubbling.

When this would happen back at my house, I would have random episodes of insomnia. I have been getting a ton of insomnia lately. One time I was tossing and turning in bed because I could not get to sleep. I would look up at the clock and see how much time has gone by, I would turn back on my iRadio because the sleep timer kicked in, or I would get some water. I finally had it and I just sat up in bed and my mirror is right in from of my when I do this on the wall. I looked at my reflection and (keep in mind that the Yellow lights from the street lights filter in) my skin had this pale blue glow. I was not moving because I was fascinated by this strange reflection and as I was staring into the mirror, the figure started to sway back and forth and then move like it was looking for something.

What is happening to me? I called my dad because he has experienced a few things like this and knows only a bit of what I have been through. He said that he got holy water to bless our house so that the things that were happening might be forced to stop and leave. Then he said there was some left over and he is going to send it to me. When I go down to visit for Thanksgiving, I am going to make sure I bring up my crosses. Other than that, I do not know what to do. I am fascinated by these kinds of things, but I do not want to take the chance that these things are evil again.

Has anyone else been through any thing like this?

No. Can't say that I've ever experienced anything in the paranormal like this as you've described. Doesn't mean that I don't believe in 'ghosts' or spirits because I do to some extent.

But in spite of that I do belive in energy which can be bitween the things in this life and make the balance in it .. like the gravity.. but a bit different.. the humans and animals are the source of it I guess..

sounds stupid?? icon_neutral.gif .. maybe not to some people..

LOL... I used to live in a haunted house
Bumps and voices were heard by everyone who lived there
My little dog used to bark and growl at the stairs to the attic when nothing was there
...there's more to what goes on in this world than we know

I think we ghosts get a bad rap!

    Casper, the friendly ghost
    The friendliest ghost you know!
The grownups might look at him with fright,
But the children all love him so.

    He always says hello
And he's really glad to meet ya'
    Wherever he may go,
He's kind to every living creature.

    Grownups don't understand,
Why children love him the most,
But kids all know that he loves them so,
    Casper the friendly ghost!

I have a small hut that I build on a land I inheritance . I use it for relaxation purpose you know getting away in the wood. One lonely night staying there alone , on a bright moonlight nite. I heard a women singing from the outside window. It must be after midnite already. There no music or anything just singing, whispering softly but I cant barely make a word. I got so scare that I get into my car headed to beach to spent the rest of the nite sleeping in my car.

I never spend a nite in that hut again, and only visited it during a bright daylight. Until now I cant figure out what it is. Probably some body have a radio or TV on , in some houses on some neighbouring land.

    Tigger,
Sounds spooky. Maybe it's several different entities in your room. I would guess a ghost of a dog and a poltergeist, maybe something more.
If I were you I would move, lol, otherwise hire someone who can do a cleansing.

I believe there are things in this world that can't be explained. Maybe you should get a fresh start, move to another dorm room. If your religious you could pray.? icon_smile.gif

I can't resist pointing out that that is not the Golden Rule.

    That's Thumper's Rule.

The Golden Rule is, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Call and old priest and a young priest and make sure your head is attatched to your body in a secure manner, no Linda Blairing please!

Best bet, if it's not doing any harm, and you dont mind it, then do nothing. If you dont want it around... tell it to go away.

I completely agree. Obviously, you are very perceptive to this energy. Unconciously, you may actually be attracting it to you, mostly through your curiosity. Holy water and crosses will work, if you whole heartedly believe they will. A smudge stick, preferably sage, will work just as well. However, these are really only tools to focus your will. You can also get some guidance from your local occult shop. Back in Michigan, it was The Triple Goddess Bookstore. It's really only a source for books, crystals, incense, etc. for us 'neo' pagans (sorry, no goat heads for sale icon_biggrin.gif ).

I believe you. I have a son with a similar problem. He is twenty now but when he was fifteen he and a friend played around with necromancy and ouija boards.
Over a year ago he was admitted to a mental hospital for schizophrenia. He was admitted because of demon attacks. When he was released, his mother insisted that I take him for awhile. He lived with me for about six months.
One night he was watching television and I was on the computer and the house suddenly became very cold. My son was having one of his Demon attacks. I stayed with him through it and when it subsided, the room gradually warmed up. My son was hot, sweating and flushed. He was apparently able to suck the energy out of the room.
The problem isn't supernatural though, it is my son's affliction, schizophrenia. Medication stops it. He is back with his mother and doing fine. When he misses a dose, the demons come back. No one but him can see them. I hope you don't think that I am demeaning you, it isn't my intention. I do know how powerful this is.
