I'm not sure what I did, but I was exactly 200 a week ago. Now, I'm 208. I've only been to the gym about 3 or 4 times last week, and my protein intake hasn't changed at all. I'm eating regularly as before, so I dunno what happened. I'm pretty stoked, though. =) Maybe because I'm not working out EVERY day and it's giving the protein a chance to work with my super fast metabolism? Whey is awesome. Nitro-tech.

I dont think that is physiologically possible. The scale is/was off somehow.

Not trying to be a buzzkill; that is pretty awesome! But keep in mind that some of that could be water and poo! Lol icon_lol.gif

    Keep it up, though! icon_smile.gif

Go with the most obvious. That is water weight. When you hear hoofbeats, you think horse before zebra. The obvious usually is correct. I would guess water weight since it would be incredible if you gained that much fat OR muscle in that short time period.

Hmmm I used to use Nitro-tech, but someone said it has creatine, which gives you a temporary bump because your muscles store extra water. That could maybe explain the rapid weight gain?

way to go.. i doubt it is all water weight like people are saying.. but I also doubt it was all muscle weight... or fat... so its probably a combination of different sources... but keep it up and see if it lasts!

Sorry but if you gained 8 lbs in a week, it is likely something besides muscle. Even the most genetically gifted male with the best diet would be lucky to gain 8lbs of muscle in six months absent any chemical "enhancement."

Also, I have never seen two scales that weigh exactly the same, so if you weighed on a different scale, that could account for it too.

congrats man, that's awesome. But in all honesty, it has been shown the body can only gain .5 lbs of muscle a week so it is most likely water weight, and I doubt it was lbs of fat. Either way, keep doing what you're doing...im sure some of it was good gains.
