How do u react when your hot listed by someone you hot listed? ugh, is it a sympathy hot listing? I don't know. Are they doin it to simply reciprocate the sentiment or are they genuinely hot listing you because the feeling is mutual?!
Or am i thinking to much about this.

I think there should be a separate category-

People who have buddy listed you
    People who have hotlisted you.
People who have reciprocally hotlisted you.

I don't "sympathy" hotlist anyone, only people that I think are hot. I don't expect people who I hotlist to hotlist me back, either, it's just really great when they do! icon_biggrin.gif

It's possible you are thinking about his one a bit too much... just be honest when you hotlist someone, Santos.

jprichva saidWow. there's just no end to the things and people you hate, is there.
It must be exhausting to spend all your time hating.

hmmm, maybe i should not have replied to your previous post - so i wouldn't perpetuate the 'hate' you initiated.

I usually don't hot list someone that hotlisted me. But I do send a friendly thank you note to show my appreciation.

My reaction is "Cool, he thinks I'm hot too! I should follow up with this guy."

Maybe I'm crazy, but my default assumption is that people mean what they say or indicate. If someone hotlists me, I assume that means he thinks I'm hot. I don't comprehend the virtue of hotlisting someone out of "sympathy" or "respect". That would be misleading.

I hotlist people I think are hot, regardless of who hotlisted whom first. If they hotlist me, I'm delighted. I'll hotlist them back if I think they're hot; I see new faces on here everyday. If I'm unsure if they're 'up there' with the other guys on my hotlist, then I'll usually send a thank-you message, rather than hot-list them. icon_wink.gif (I can't hot-list everyone!)

My only uncertainty regarding hotlisting is whether or not 'hotlist' is a verb. icon_confused.gif

If I hotlist someone who hotlisted me, it is because I find them hot.
Why didn't I do it sooner? Maybe I didn't see them until they hotlisted me.

hm, just want to add something in - you can always un-hotlist someone, too if you think he's too stuck-up or impolite or whatever else! the point is - you can always change your mind!

I hot list people that I think are either very attractive physically and/or have expressed some very touching, sensitive and caring posts.

When people hotlist me, I always thank them as well.

I still am blown away when someone hotlists me. And I always, without fail, thank them for doing so. When I hotlist someone, it is because I am struck by his body and a lot of times, his profile, too.

You're hot. So when you're hot listed, take it at face value. icon_wink.gif

And trust your instincts. If you want to hot list someone in reciprocation, feel good about it. Ditto if you don't.
