Hey, guys! Hope everyone near DC comes out this weekend to Pride!

I'll be manning the DCStrokes booth at the festival mid-afternoon on Sunday. I'm really excited to go to Cobalt because it'll be packed and the parade will be a blast.

Anyways, go have fun and be safe!

I'll be there! At Town tomorrow night with a bunch of Maryland friends (to see Rupaul), and then hopefully at the parade on Saturday.

First time I'm celebrating a Pride Week. Woo!

I'll be there. Still haven't decided about the street fair on Sunday, though. It was kinda fun last year.

The parade was surprisingly fun. It was the first Pride parade for me. I was watching near a band of topless lesbetians with pride flags over their nipples. Mayor Fenty was walking in the parade and loved the lesbians. He had a big grin and lots of beads for them.

I was surprised to see a Real Jock member marching in the parade. Well, not so much marching as walking and dancing. I tried to get a picture but I have the world's suckiest camera phone.

They are a little blurry (a lot really) but DancerJack's hotness still comes through.

As DancerJack was groovin' on down the road we had some longer-than-normal eye contact. Either:
    1. he may have recognized me from the site (a bit presumptuous on my part)
    2. he thought I was cute (very presumptuous on my part)
    3. he knows how work a crowd one person at a time.

    I'm going with number three.

I wish I had thought to say something to him. I guess I was just happy to watch him dance to Rihanna's Umbrella.

Haha, I definitely saw DancerJack too - he literally walked two feet in front of me, and it didn't click about who he was until he had passed.

Congrats on being such a celebrity, DancerJack! If only I had gotten you to sign my....arm.

I didn't march with them. I was at the Booth instead during the festival.

Not only is DancerJack hot, but he sounds sweet. His reply to madtown was sooooooooooooooo sweet, it made my heart melt! icon_biggrin.gif

If you two are both single, I hope you make the effort to meet and have a drink -- where a drink between two strangers turns into something more.

Wow, what a great story you both would have to tell people of how you met your boyfriend!

Mom, is that you? Now that I think about it, maybe not. My mom would have said "what a great story you both would have to tell your kids of how you met "
