To all you guys that don't go to clubs or bars, what do you do on the weekends?

Today, I went for a run at the beach, then went to the gym, then ate dinner. And now I'm watching a crappy Eddie Murphy movie on TV, while performing back-ups on my computer. Yeah, nerd alert. icon_lol.gif

So what are you doing right now?

I just finished cleaning up my kitchen. I had a small group of friends over last night for food and drinks. After that we walked over to Canberra Stadium and watched the Australian Wallabies kick the poo out of the Italian team....

I don't go out to the clubs and seem to always find things to occupy my time...that, or I am too tired fromt he days activities (hiking, gardening, etc, etc, etc) to WANT to go out.

Cook, clean, volunteer for those in need, work on starting my own company, read, movies, visit family, walk in the park, love the cat, go to the movies, gym. Thinking about taking a dancing class (since I have all of the coordination of a elephant.

Same as any other day, except I don't answer the business line on weekends and spend a little more time doing laundry and maintenance.

Instead of going to a bar with a bunch of gay man. I went to a gay man's house with a bar.

    The music was much better.

I would assume (but that does make an ass out of you and me) that the conversation was better too.

half of my day was celebrating my friend's birthday by sorting oranges at the SF Foodbank while a DJ was spinning 80's music...I had a blast...although I was dead tired by 12 Noon...then it was off to laundry and playtime with the dog!

Last night had dinner at a great Thai restaurant, then Gelato, then off to Starbucks and a walk around a downtown park.

I was with my best friend and a straight girl he grew up with and hadn't seen for years. So we finished off the night driving around Montrose (boystown here in Houston) so she could see all the rent boys on the street! icon_biggrin.gif

Today, I had a quiet breakfast with my partner then waxed my truck. Met a buddy of mine at the shooting range and we shot skeet until I was tired of having my a$$ kicked. Had lunch with another friend, came home and chatted here on RJ, and I'll probably read for the next three hours (Supertraining by Mel Siff). That will take me to about 16h30 and I'll grab a light dinner and then go ride my 4-wheeler through the forest. overall it's not very exciting but it's not like I planned anything either.

I'm laying here on my couch and I feel like crap. icon_sad.gif

    As for you:

Start something new. If you have too much free time and you're bored... i dunno. How about take up music lessons? Or martial arts? You could go to a gay AA meeting just to meet hot men. Get involved with a volunteer organization. Be a big brother. Or just start plucking your eyebrows. Then take yourself out to dinner.
