Hi yall, I tried to search a little bit regarding gay podcasts but for some reason most podcasts revolve around comedy, personal journal or just whatever (by whatever I mean when the host just relaxes the conversation by bringing personal opinions, funny experiencies or thoughts...). It's not exactly my thing. What I'm looking for is some podcast that shows interesting news, curiosities related to gay U.S. / western / worldwide stuff and of course, chilling with "just whatever" occasionally. (Edit: Podcasts regarding gay issues too, yes, thanks for reminding)

Some of my favorite podcasts are:

Stuff you should know: An amazing duo with really nice ratio of interesting stuff and "just whatever". (Duration: 15 ~ 30 min)

Skepticality: Another duo but mostly the lady does most of the talking. I really like their investigative approach and skeptic interviews. (Duration: 1 Hour)

One Minute How-To: The host makes the expert on something say a quick one minute how to do/know something. Most of these "experts" also give advertise podcasts and blogs on their own.

(Edit: I forgot to mention "Gay Man's Therapist", but since the latest I-Tunes update was around April 2008 I didn't think it was worth mentioning)

That's it for now. If you could share some interesting podcasts (gay themed or not) I would really appreciate it.

Feast of Fools, available for free from iTunes.

I don't know if it's necessarily full of interesting news, but they tend to tackle the important gay issue of the day, and/or an interview with a gay celebrity or gay-themed celebrity. It's more comedy than news.

I used to listen to it regularly a couple years ago, but not so much recently.

The only podcast I listen to is Gay Pimping with Jonny McGovern. You can get it free on his site or iTunes for free.

The site is currently down (I should look into that) but you can usually get podcasts of the "Closets Are For Clothes" radio show which airs on WCBN FM 88.3 (to the far left on your radio dial) Univ. of Michigan student radio. Every Wednesday night, from 6-7pm.

You can also download them at itunes, search for "Closets are for Clothes". Last weeks show had a lead story about gay sports... so tune in!

The director is currently looking for volunteers to help with the show, so if you're in the Ann Arbor area and interested let me know.
