Maher is totally right. The time to pass liberal legislation is now while the Republicans are in complete disarray and Obama's popularity is so huge. It's time for Obama to spend some political capital and he needs to be more aggressive.

When you look at the political pendulum, we've not been governed from the liberal end of the spectrum in decades. George W. Bush was conservative. Clinton governed mainly as a centrist. George H. W. Bush was probably between a moderate and conservative. Reagan was conservative. And who remembers much that Carter did. We've been governed from the middle to the conservative end of the spectrum for about 30 years. Isn't it time we give some liberalism a try?

He hit it out of the Park! I must admit I almost fell off the couch when I was listening to it live. Once the "Lovefest" is over with Obama and all the tshirts, bumper stickers, and gold-plated "special mint" collection coins have been bought up, people may start to wake up like Bill Maher has. However, it took about 8 years for most Americans to wake up to Bush, so I'm not sure. This country needs a strong 3rd party for sure, cuz honestly there's not a big difference between the Republicans or Democrats. If you have time go to YouTube and search "The Obama Deception". It's kinda long at 1 hr and 51 minutes, but it's a good watch and very informative. Gives you an idea how politics really works in this country.
