I know that eating enough and eating right are important to the training process. I try to consume my own weight in grams of protein every day. Other than that I am lost. I have horrible eating habits and I love sweets. I am skinny, but I want to gain weight. I am currently 185 and want to gain at least 10 more lbs. What sound I be eating, how often should be eating, and what should I be staying away from?

My friend was talking to be about mass gain protein, should I be switching to this?

Are there any other supplements that I need to bring into my routines?

There is no point in putting go faster stripes on the outside of your truck if the engine is a mess. You need to eat properly before worrying about supplements

Eat a proper breakfast as soon as you can after getting up as this gets your metabolism going. I have oatmeal with extra grains and seeds and some yoghurt: I hate eating early in the day and it´s the best I can do.

Try to eat every 2 or 3 hours, but SMALL meals/big snacks. Eat stuff from the edge of the supermarket: meat, fish, produce, fresh stuff. Learning to cook will really help you and lower your food bill. DON¨T drop carbs or any food group in fact.

There is a lot of advice in the gaining weight forum and the losing weight forum.
