Anyone feel this is a function, that should of only been available to those of us, who are financial supporters of this "men's" club?

No, that will encourage elitism, and we don't want that!

Also a no because of harassment. I didn't feel it was warranted to contact anyone about it but was glad I could block him.

I wish only verified or supporters could use the forums or at least I wish there was a "section" only available to verified users or supporters period!! there are too many trolls and spammers around here with multiple identity crises that make instant profiles just to harass others.

No. That would allow supporters to harass non-supporters.

I did avail myself of thread blocking when it first became available, our very OP matey here (aka Pattison) being one of the first beneficiaries. But I soon unblocked everyone, this feature offering little advantage, especially since it doesn't block quotes in replies. I do, however, still block a few members from sending me offensive emails.

As for Supporter & Verified, I rarely even look at that, though I'm both myself. What I mainly read are the words posted in the thread itself, and judge based on that. I've been in these online chats for over 20 years, and at the risk of bragging, I feel comfortable in my ability to evaluate people between the lines. The more years I chat online, the higher my accuracy gets.

No, because the function open to all makes the forums more enjoyable for supporters because of fewer public duels and all out flame wars. Atleast I think "block his post" have lessened these.
