    Hi all -

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I am an advanced certified sports hypnotist that works with athletes to achieve their goals. Most athletes will tell you that the physical portion is about 60% of gaining success and mental attributes to the remaining 40%. Hypnosis can help an athlete over come plateaus, push harder within the gym or on the field, reinforce the healthy diet, and overcome negative habits such as smoking or stress eating.

I am not trying to push any sessions, I just want you to begin to consider all options when training. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

ive always been interested in this type of therapy, but can someone, such as myself who is very skeptical of hypnosis be hypnotised.

I would have to allow it to happen, and even then if the brain was that skeptical, would it happen..

is there percentage of people that works and doesnt work for etc.

I am skeptical, show me your best evidence of the efficacy of hypnosis.

I'm with Krovi on this one. The Slavery offerings on hypnostud's website are kinda creepy and don't fill me with confidence in the guy's professionalism.

But I don't dismiss the potential benefits of therapeutic hypnosis out of hand. When I was in grad school my dentist referred me to a hypnotist to treat a severe needle phobia. The sessions we had didn't cure my phobia, but did help reduce it. I have also visited a hypno-therapist a few times for very successful sessions of guided imagery for stress reduction. Now from time to time I use recordings of those sessions to chill out.

This guy is a total hoax. He is absolutely not a professional. In chatting with him, he claims to be anything from a child psychologist to a forensic psychologist. I'm sure he's neither. No true professional would have slavery mp3s on their website. In the first place, the tip-off is that he thinks he can use his mp3s to cause deep hypnosis--very questionable. Second, he seems to think he can continue hypnosis via IM. Even more doubtful. Even the quality is very amateurish.

His only interest seems to be in getting his kicks out of trying to ensnare someone into his slavery mp3s. I played along with him to see where it would lead...creepy as it sounded. He even suggested while thinking that I was under hypnosis, that I give him control of my finances. At that point I called his bluff and he got very defensive and dropped offline. Don't waste your time with this guy.

I used to chat with Kyle many many years ago when we lived in the same area of the country.

I would suggest that Kyle is not a trained psychotherapist who employs hypnosis as an effective technique, but instead, a man who has a severe sexual fetish for hypnotizing men.

So, if you want to further your sports training through hypnosis, I would avoid him. If, however, you get off on surrendering control, then by all means contact him. icon_biggrin.gif

Glad someone beat me to this. I looked at his site and had the same reaction to his "slavery" mp3s. In fact, my understanding of hypnosis makes me think that listening to an mp3 that might induce a hypnotic state without supervision is really dangerous.

I mean, have you seen Office Space??? icon_rolleyes.gif

Can one be hypnotized to wipe out any and all memory of an old boyfriend?

Don't know whether you can wipe out memories on a permanent basis. This probably isn't the forum for that kind of question, unless someone here is a trained hypnotherapist. Better to ask someone who knows. But don't ask Kyle...unless you want to be his sex slave.

Even if you are into relinquishing control, be aware that Kyle is only interested in controlling YOU, not enhancing your submissiveness. He will suggest that you no longer have any interest in anyone but 'Master Kyle;' that he alone will control all your wants and desires, that you will want to skip your job and travel to be with him and possibly--as was in my 'test drive'-- to give him control of your finances. Caveat emptor. Buyer beware.

This is the first time I've seen someone using the forums to promote their business -- totally classless!

Actually if you search the forums for "hypnosis" you'll find this isn't nearly his first time advertising.

    Oh wow!

There's actually a torrent on The Pirate Bay of some of his files!

    From the page:

    http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4644833/Hypnosis_by_Kyle_%28Induction__Jock_I__II__IV__Bodybuilder%29

The author of these files is good at hypnosis, but is notorious for not being forthright about his intentions. Therefore, I will list some of the more prominent suggestions contained in these files below:

All of the files above suggest:

-Working out harder (e.g. lifting more)
    -Working out daily
    -Wearing jock-like clothing
-Trigger phrase to help return to hypnotic trance
-Listening multiple times a day to reinforce suggestions

    Jock I and II suggest:

    -Becoming dumber
(This is a big one not likely to appeal to most people, but does to some)
-Decreased interest in things besides sports and working out (e.g. school, work)

Jock II and IV also suggest contacting the author of these files. This is up to each individual, but is likely to be a bad idea, as he's known to use lies and manipulation to get what he wants from others.

    Interesting.

I don't see anything wrong with it. Oh, by the way, does ANYone need a vacation home in beautiful Scottsdale, AZ on the side of a mountain with incredible views, waterfall/jacuzzi/pool, and an * car garage. Come on, guys -- Pony up! It's just been reduced by $200,000 and it's available for a cool $1,599,000. icon_lol.gif

i learned how to hypnotize years ago and do it often to our fraternity pledges (after they beg me to, of course- actives are welcome to participate as well)

its a lot of fun, from an entertainment bent- its a bit of an ego trip, how completely they will give themselves up to your suggestions; how everything you say is REAL for them.

i use it to help break bad habits too, like smoking, for brothers who ask, and can even plant dreams to be had later by post-hypnotic suggestion, should they want a vividly memorable lucid dream with a supermodel or whatever haha.

in any case, i'd love to get better at it- there's a LOT of power there for good or ill.

Hypnosis only works when the hypnotized consciously wish to succumb to suggestion. Hypnosis cannot make unwilling slaves, and it cannot overcome physical reality (such as increasing muscle mass through suggestion). There is absolutely no legitimate scientific evidence that hypnosis does anything besides ease inhibitions of the hypnotized. Anyone can become a "certified" hypnotherapist by forking over a couple hundred bucks (or less) and watching a series of training videos (or less).

WOW! so many misconceptions about hypnosis and hypnotherapy. Not surprising though given what many people are familiar with, stage hypnosis for example. Please know this is done for ENTERTAINMENT and not for any kind of therapy. Keep in mind with any enterainment there is smoke and mirrors just like making a movie. However just as a movie has many truths and facts so is the same with hypnosis.
