This is how some Christian fundamentalists in the US cure the gay in us:

In fact my own parents tried professional hypnotism on me, but never resorted to an exorcism.

Seriously, this is so sad, and the article says this is more common in the US than is realized. I thought gay deprogramming camps were bad enough...

Was just about to post this and the video. Vid is hard to find now, but here's one from a newscast that contains some footage.

This is getting surreal. It's going to come to fists with these people. I'm about there myself.

It appalls me how incredibly ignorant some fundamentalist freaks can be.

These aren't run of the mill mainline religious people, for sure. But this is the kind of ignorance and belief in demons that drove the witchcraft trials of the 16th and 17th century.

I wish people would wake up and realize what a complete crock religion is.

Well, don't expect any state prosecutor to step up and charge these people. This group has the protection of religion, and all the organized religions in the state would gang up & attack if any "interference" were attempted.

About the only time that's happened was with some groups who were using snakes and getting their worshippers bitten. But this kid was just a gay, so that doesn't count.

Let's not forget - they had ignorance and lysergic acid in the moist rye... Now we've just got ignorance

This is absurd and that clip is very disturbing.

Maybe someone should give these Christian fundamentalists an exorcism...because they clearly have lost their minds, revealed by this savage behavior.icon_evil.gif

Well, it worked...look what flew out of that boy when they were done:

    hot+pocket+with+gay_satan.jpg

(I'm not sure what the hot pockets are there for...I mean they are evil, but not necessarily gay).

actually, arguments over land rights were at the heart of that. they just used demons as an excuse. once they got rid of the people on the land they wanted it all got better. see "a delusion of satan" by frances hill.

This is not an exorcism. It's child abuse.

I too am sucking cocks in hell....

I try to be a good atheist and not lump the good, progressive religious folks in with the neanderthal religious folks. But that video makes me want to commit unspeakable filth in their sacred little church.
