RIP Farrah. It's a shame that they didn't have time to get remarried.

She was one of the major icons of the 1970s in the US. Every decade has them, and she was one for a time. Plus she seemed like a genuinely nice person, and her last years battling against cancer revealed a great deal of courage & grace, providing inspiration for many. These are the kind of people who transcend their moment, and deserve our respect. My sympathies to her family and loved ones.

Anyone else who is of my generation knows Farrah from Charlie's Angels. Thinking about her, takes me back to my youth. I had the famous poster in my dorm room my freshman year in college. Along with a slew of other Charlie's Angels and Farrah posters/pictures.

Damn her...I think she's the reason why I thought I was straight! So many wasted years. LOL.

Rest in peace for sure...she was courageous in her battle to the end.

How very sad.. kind of hard to believe. I knew with the documentary she was making, she was in very poor health and she wasn't expected to live very long. I remember as a little kid, she was about the hottest thing around.

She was a very brave and public symbol of courage to all those who are battling cancer. May she rest in peace.

When I was in high school, a number of my straight friends had posters of her in their rooms - much like this one. She was a straight guy's dream in the mid 70s. May she rest in peace and enjoy the hereafter. I hope it is sweet.

I had that poster in college. I thought she was very pretty in an atypical way. Of course, I had lots of telltale gayish posters too. She will be missed.

It's so sad that she died. I heard she was due to get married as soon as she was able to say "I do".

On another note. We have one less child molester in the world... Michael Jackson also died this morning.
