Hey guys, I was just wondering what Software you use to track your workouts and Nutrition? I used to use IronTrainer2, but my computer got fried and I lost my copy. The software as far as I can tell is no longer supported, so I can't even buy a new copy of it. At the moment I'm keeping track of nutrition on Fitday.com, but they don't allow me to break down carbs, and I want to keep track of my simple vs Complex carb intake. They also don't allow me to track individual weightlifting exercises, just the amount of time I spent lifting...

I use Excel. Putting together my own spreadsheet allows me to track exactly what I want to track, both with regard to nutrition and weight lifting.

You can easily set up simple calculations so that all your numbers are totaled for the day, week, or whatever you're interested in.

I've settled on Pro Track 2005. I found a site that did comparisons of several software programs, and this one seemed like the best value for the money.

Unfortunately the program is designed by fundie christian whackjobs, but it looked like the best option. I've only had it a day, so I'm not ready to evaluate the program yet, but It looks to me like it's at least as good as Iron Trainer 2 was...

You can try http://www.fitday.com/ or http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/. They're free. Plus Bodybuilding.com has a large community of lifters, for support.

I signed up for spark people, but it appears to have just put me on some random diet that doesn't appear to actually apply to what I'm doing. I'm told it has a place to record exercises and such, but I haven't been able to find it
