So I'm feeling a tad bit ambivalent today... it's the start of Gay Pride Weekend in NYC today. La-di-da! 3 years ago Sunday my second partner had a massive heart attack and died at the Gay Pride Festival. 3 years later, today, I have reached 200lbs (down 45lbs from 2/1/09) and now have a waist size of 39" (down from 44" in February).

Today though I told my "inspiration" for losing all this weight, a long-distance 'boyfriend' in TX, to stay there and NOT visit me this weekend, after I found that he posted being in a relationship with another guy on his FB site (hmmmm, like I would never look at his site!? LOL) I ended it. I won't go into all the sordid details, but he clearly was not the 'Christian' man he pretended to be. So much for dating someone younger than me (me, 52; he 43).

So I am in an ambivalent mood... as I told my friend, I sorta want the largest Boston Cream Pie I can find... and lots of Vodka... but not really. About 2 months into this lifestyle change I realized I was doing this 'weight-loss' thing for me, not him... and any way was not really interested in dating a good-looking version of "Baby Huey" no matter how nice (I thought) he is/was.

I suppose better I found out now what a skank he was?

say underbearboy, classy integrity can come in any age, so please keep all your options open! ( fails come in all age brackets, too, lol)

It's Gay Pride, so get out there, have fun, grin and wink at strangers, say Hi and dazzle them off their feet!

How much did your boyfriend weigh? Add that number to 45 and say you lost that much.
