When a guy calls me skinny, it makes me want to step on him I used to be skinny, but not anymore.

"Good looking," because I know he's lying to flatter me. Not only do I detest flattery of all kinds, but mocking my inadequate looks is doubly insulting.

Duckie, Nancy, a wolf-whistle and such like done by straight teenagers or guys in their twenties.
It makes me want to punch them in the mouth.
Once a staff member at a pool changing room wolf-whistled at me while he was in company of other staff members. Not realising that he was being watched by the duty manager through a surveilance camera, he was called up and fired.
Nobody has ever tried it on me since.

I can't think of something (apart from blatantly offensive stuff), so going through the list of the already said above me:

Skinny: Ok, no way.
Good looking: Nice! I'll take this one and think no more of it.
Sir/Sir, yes, sir!: Mmmmh... it depends on the situation! But can be playfully sexy, good teasing or... not.
Bear: I would end up laughing tomorrow.
Papi: Ugh! No! Ugh, horrible to my actual Latino ears.
Guy/Hey guy: I actually like it.
Doris?: Ugh, no.
Baby, babe: Only one person at a time may get away with these.
Bro: I actually do like the bro thing!
Fat, overweight, heavy: Same as skinny... Ugh, tactless.
Sweetie: Again, only one person at a time may get away with it
Person of interest: Wadda you mean?
Girl: Only in a moment of bitchy/queeny joking, otherwise it gets old real quick.
Shorty: Nope.
Dude.: Kind of neutral, but can get old quick if repeated too much.
Pretty: Mmh, the positive possibilities with this one are very, very narrow, but someone might pull it off.
Big boy: Nope.
Fat ass: This one gets the person saying it his ass kicked! LOL
Daddy: No! Thought not as egregious as Papi.
Sugar or honey: these might cause me to laugh for a while! Slightly annoying, used on me mostly in teasing.
Cute: If in the right context, I might love it... otherwise... well, I guess I actually like it.
Duckie, Nancy, a wolf-whistl: Never heard them, but don't sound too good.
By the wrong name!: I'm not a jealous kind of person, but depending of the situation (you know what I mean) these could be dangerous waters!

And of my own:

My other half: Not too egregious, but I like my men complete, even if we complement each other.

anything overtly femmy and cutsy like 'sweetie' or 'QT' or 'boi' (if a man refers to himself as a boy, i head for the hills- if he spells it with an i, i throw up a little in my mouth)

i also hate anything douchy that sounds like the guy's had way too much practice at objectifying guys and being a player. like calling me babe during our first conversation.

It depends on the situation, the relationship ( if there is one ), the place, the tone of voice, the level of sarcasm & irony, and just what you perceive their intention to be.
Basically it's all about RESPECT !

That said 'bitch'
'gayboy'
'yo'
papi ( daddy ,= sugar daddy, -very low class spanish )
'tio' ( = 'guy' in spanish) /
yayo or abuelo ( = grandpa in spanish )

and of course MARICON ( 'queer' in spanish )

If a guy calls me baby and I don't really know him it always gets on my nerves.
Also if anyone ever calls me chief -Where I'm from that means asshole. Its not just that but also an insult to your intelligence because when its said, the sayer knows he's calling you an asshole and is arrogantly assuming that you are too dim to realize. I went off on someone for calling me that when I 1st moved to Houston, but it doesn't really mean that here. Now if it happens I just say ok tiger/killer etc. Its equally condescending I guess.

Any pet name in max repeatition irks me. Babe, honey are cute once or twice a day tops, but if you're using it in lieu of my name, it's time to weed you out of the running.

And just because I can take it like a man does NOT mean I'm a female. And the whole utilization of "Girrrl, Mary, etc" sets back the gay movement 50 years or so. Not a big fan, I have adequate penis to support my theory that I'm infact, MALE.

Under No Circumstance:
bro, brah, dude, stud, guy, papi, buddy, friend, boy/boi

My favorite pet name ever was "puppy", I think it was in part because I was into the guy and how he said it, but it turned me into mush.
Also have an affinity for "babe"

My grandparents call me "mijo" there is nothing that turns me off faster than an image of my grandparents in the room with me mackin' on a guy.

...and the whole "Papi" thing... there is nothing, "Papi-ish" about me, that shit is just creepy.

Almost everything depends on whence it comes for me. THough I do tend to dislike thinks that imply I'm feminine. A drag queen did say "Sweetcheeks" and it didn't bother me, I took it more as a compliment on my butt.

I think I would really like bro from a guy for whom it sounds natural AND who really meant it. And for whom I would feel the same friendship in return.

Yeah, I'm feeling lonely lately.

Jesus, and I though evangelicals were uptight.

I don't care what people call me at all, unless their intentions are meant to be belittling or they're attempting massive pseudo-masculinity (i.e. most people who use 'bro'). If someone calls me 'babe' or 'pumpkin' or 'shithead' I could care less. If it feels belittling or fauxbutch, I remind them that my name is Mike.

Otherwise, pull the fucking stick out, bitches.

As Mo'Nique said so eloquently -

"If you were acting like a bitch, that's what YO ass needed to be called!"

Twink.

I hate them and I don't identify with this sub-group of gay culture. I've only been called this once or twice, but it annoyed me to no end. Couldn't those people see that I'm trying to gain muscle mass? Really, I am!

Besides, there are many more guys out there who fit the "twink" description way better than I ever could - or ever will, for that matter. The starved-look might appear nice to some people...but not me, damn it. I like to eat.

hey boo.......I kinda like that, I dunno why....reminds me of winnie the pooh, lol. oh wow, now I know where I heard that....To Kill A Mocking Bird.

"Babe", "girl", "honey", "sugar", "sweetie", "dear" etc... I just don't respond to any of these "terms of endearment" and I would ignore someone until they call me by my actual name.

Although I recognize that it's a compliment, for some reason I'm a little bothered when some people say that I'm cute or sexy. Maybe it's the way I perceive myself or want to be perceived. I know I have no problem if people tell me I'm hot, but that's just deluding myself. So, keep the compliments coming (only if they're sincere). I will get over myself. Thanks and I apologize for the self-obsessed digression.

"Girl" or anything feminine.

Another one that really irks me is when a guy who is old enough to be my dad calls me "bro". Id much rather be called "boy" than "bro". Boy actually makes sense.

Man, dude, stud, bud, all those are good. But if you are much older than me, bro is not applicable. We could not be brothers, thus the term does not work.

Ok, so "bro", "stud", "tiger", "boo" (can be funny), "babe/baby" (if by a significant other, is cool) - these are all good. I really have no problem.

However, when I am actually greeted by "HEY GUUUURRRLLL!!!" whilst snapping in a Z formation - that irritates me to no end. No, and I am not talking about in a "joking" context sort of way. Lets face it, we are all gay....we are not too "masculine" for the universe...we can flame it up from time to time for a good laugh.

What drived me nuts is "son", especially from an older man....my response is "what daddy?"...they usually stop right there.

I'll gladly weigh in on this one...

"Bro" - Hate it. Hate the portmanteau "Bromance" more.

"Papi" - Had to call my best friend to find out exactly what this meant. Though it may be some form of compliment - I do not like it when I see underwear that is the same name I have been called. I'd take equal offense to being called "BVD" or "Fruit of the Loom".

Girl, Gurl or Gurrrrrrrrrrlllll or being referred to as "she" or any other feminine descriptor. I am all guy - head to toe. I never have and never will wear a dress and the only chance my toenails have of being painted is by me dropping the Sherwin Williams while repainting the living room.

Babe, Baby or some other term that is apparently a common term of affection in neighborhoods that either "ride on the wings of Goodyear" or where people just shout out of windows at each other as opposed to using a telephone.

And the one that confused me for 2 hours (again until my street-slang translating best friend straightened me out) was when some frat boy looking person called me a "Home Skillet" because I caught an old lady when the train took off abruptly. I had no idea that being referred to as cookware was a complimentary term.

Indifferent to bro, but from the few people who go so far as to say it, "brother" kind of turns me on. I will disclaim that I have no actual brothers, so it'll be impossible to ever tell if that's part of an incest kink.

Besides that, "cute" is a way versatile word-- can be a compliment, can be dismissive.

Daddy. Only two people in the world get to call me Daddy and both of them got half their chromosomes from me. That term used sexually just creeps me out.

Honey. I am not sweet and sticky. Sweaty and sticky on occasion.

Bob or Bobby - If I wanted to be called Bob or Bobby, I would have introduced myself as one or the other. Rob or Robert will do very well.

Any pet name - In my past relationship, I accepted a pet name from him as an expression of love and affection, but it was a private pet name never used in front of others.

Papi - Since my ancestors did not come from any country where Spanish is spoken as a rule, it makes me wonder if I shouldn't have a corncob pipe and overalls and spit chewing tobacco in the general direction of a spittoon.

Pops - Only the offspring of my offspring make me smile with that term. All others make me look around for a machete to use.

Darling - If you met my mother you would understand.

Son - If you had met my father you would understand.

Bro - I have a sibling. We detest each other and only speak as it relates to the support of my niece who would have no hope if her definition of being human was based solely on my good for nothing, alcoholic, drug using sibling.

Any cutesy appellation in public spoken without clear irony. I have a special hatred for cute things.

Cute - See previous statement. I have never been cute and at my age, it implies the onset of dotage.

Dawg - I might not be cute, but let's not overcompensate. I might be a little intimidating, but I am not a biker or an enforcer nor do I try to capture felons on the run. Besides for someone who follows Georgia Tech athletics, Dawg is an unbearable insult.

Not so much what a guy calls me, but if a guy tries to impress me by speaking Tagalog...and yes, it does happpen every so often. My parents are Filipino, but not only did they speak two completely different dialects (Ilocano and Visayan, plus fluent English), I was born and raised in So Cal and speak fluent English (OK, American English for my picky Brit friends) with no trace of a Filipino accent. I feel like telling the guys who try to chat me up in Tagalog, 'sorry, not only are you barking up the wrong tree, you're in the wrong fucking forest'.

"cute" it feels like it's more so in reference my age than my physical appearence and ignores what I've done to improve myself, which requires dedication and maturity and "cute" invalidates it. If I ever call someone "good lookin' " or " handsome " it's very sincere and I often refuse to say "sexy" and "hot" because they're trashy, lame words that don't require the utilization of neurons.. unless of course they are insanely attractive and then anything goes lol.

I hate when a guy calls me or says something like "Oh Daddy!" BAH! That just turns me off. Its worse than a cold shower and blue balls. Urgh....
