Anyone know if such a thing exists? I did some Google-ing and found a few destinations for celebs that were relaxation-oriented, but I like the idea of going for a week of vacation time to a 'fitness boot camp' where I can practice eating right, have a trainer, learn some solid basics and put them into practice, etc.

Please drop me a line if you know any legit places like this; gay friendly would be key too. I can travel and currently live in Pittsburgh. Of course, I am interested in whether or not you would attend such a place as well. Thanks.

(I put a very similar thread in the general fitness area but got no feedback)

I unfortunately dont have any info for Pittsburg but here in San Diego there multiple boot camp trainers that train usually from 1-5 days a week and its an all out kick ass workout everytime. I think you said you have all ready checked it out online but I would think if you google boot camp pittsburg something would come up.

There was an article in yesterday's New York Times (already deleted my link, sorry) about a boot camp in Korea that cures kids of "internet addiction." It turns them into "manly men" instead of computer wimps. (In my day, they tried to stop me from reading too much.)

I keep toying with the idea of fixing up the bunk room and advertising the old family farm as an "eco-adventure exercise" destination. I.e., con a bunch of city folks into paying to come out and do my grunt work for me. (From there, it doesn't take too much imagination to bump the fantasy up to the next level of a bunk room full of cute guys doing my work.)

    *SLAP* er... sorry.

Personally, I'd like to take a vacation (preferably to someplace warm ) and have a week of sailing or surfing lessons.
