I was thinking about what I'm thankful for and came up with a list:

    1. Sushi 2. Orange Juice 3. Xmen 4. Zara 5. Zara 6. Zara 7. Music 8. Hardwood Floors 9. Outer Space 10. Gelato

Then I thought more about it and revised my list: I realized I could live without Gelato, and I'm thankful for things, you know, possessions. It's like Eva Longoria said on Desperate Housewives, the idea that money doesn't buy you happiness is something we tell the poor so they don't revolt.

(I am bullshitting just to be clear)

Actually, I would like to start a list of people on this site I am thankful for.

Obscenewish : I am thankful for his wisdom and sexiness. I have benefited from mentors all my life and consequently "stand on the shoulders of giants." If he were in my daily space I would let him mentor me in everything. It would be an honor.

Aero : I am thankful for his quirky and uplifting character, his joy. Every encounter I have had with him I am convinced that his is a beautiful soul in every way.

Dreamer : I am thankful for his inspiration, his creativity, and the fact that he looks on life with hope. He inspires me and I honored to know him.

There are many more, for instance, CadillacStyle, for being an overcomer and not losing faith, and the list goes on.

    Please add your own...

I'm thankful for the bottle of Jack Daniels in my luggage that will get me through the days with my mother...

I am thankful that my sisters and cousins and I hang out like friends, friends who also need Jack Daniel's to survive days with my mother.

I am thankful for my mother, without whom I may never have discovered my good friend, Mr. Jack Daniels.

Nah... I am thankful that I found this website though, it's nice to sort of have a collection of people trying to share their experiences and lessons in an open setting.

    Happy Thanksgiving MadApollo.

I'm thankful that both my gym and Whole Foods open up early tomorrow.

I'm thankful for my partner, a successful business, and good friends.

    I'm thankful for Lunesta.

And in terms of RJ members, thanks to ChuckyStud for all of his good advice, to sahem62896 for the occasional IMs that get me through boring conference calls and business meetings, to Paradox who's always so positive, and TimeandTimeAgain for looking so good in tight baby blues.

During a time when imporant things are going south for me, I'm thankful to the ALL the above posters (esp. MadApollo) for reminding me how much I have to be thankful for.

    a devoted and accepting family
solid friends, however far apart we may be
    a full refrigerator
    a clean apartment
    occasional dark chocolate
and mostly a wonderful partner who's waiting for me to come back to bed and snuggle. I'm off.
