    WTF

ok so I'm bored and almost feel like it's not worth the time and I really don't wan't to pick childish fights, I read a lot of tit for tat sometimes and I just summed it up as a group a guys that know ea other and use the forum as means to keep in touch and find Q/A to the dailys of life. However I recently read a reply frm a member musclejock18 and found it a little disturbing. (sorry bro) link to thread

    http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/568399/

Looking at how many times this post was read to how many replies of support is somewhat concerning, but I get that sometimes you just don't wanna deal or comment w/ stupidity, I've opened and moved along enough not to critisize. but was still hands dwn happy to read all the support he recieved untill I came upon the excuses made by this paticular member! I'm more offened by this behavior than the guy who wrote the initial email to the original poster. WHY, because at least w/ him you knew where he was coming frm just plain stupidity! I get more upset by people who try to act like they have no thought's of exclusion but their subtleness for sensitivity and those not like them creep out when the opprotunity presents itself like in this case and we get to see who they really are as they preach differently!
In the end everyone is entitled to their own opinion and this is mine. I'm sure a lot will feel that I'm over reacting and so be it, but to excuse the behavior of some dumbass sending thoughless emails is UNEXCUSABLE! Maybe if I decide to email anyone frm this site I should start it off Hey BUTTFUCKER or perhaps FUDGEPACKER, DICK SUCKER, FAGGOT! We've all participated in one of these acts let's see how well recieved those comments are taken after all we are gay (rt) and I normally go around calling my friends HOMO just cause it sounds endearing. IS THIS GUY FOR REAL?

    Caslon Forum Fail Law #7

Whereas we all get bored from time to time, and

Whereas almost anything will serve as a distraction from one's ennui,

It is an automatic FAIL to inflict your uninventive momentary brain fart attempt at amusment on the rest of us just to occupy yourself. Anytime one starts a thread with "ok so I'm bored," he should stop and delete it pronto....and go find a good book....or jack off....or something.....just dont bore the rest of us.

I might have been bored but his lack of thoughtlessness remains the same and let that be LAW#1 in my book! So I addressed it. I also looked to see if you had any advice to the original post to whom such a nasty email was recieved (maxxtowt) and Oh NOTHING! I guess you have no laws on support for someone who was subjected to such stupidity, but maybe you were reading a book or in your own words jacking off while he recieved such an email. your 1st failure in my laws of the forum was your lack of support where someone felt the need to reachout and your inability to say anything but nothing as if that might be a waste of your time but then again you might have been busy.

He had already rejected what would have been my advice, so there was no need for me to post it. ....oh, and it's "received" ... icon_rolleyes.gif

    The 14th Bodhisattva Sedative says
    Patience

Forgive the blessed, for they are innocent.
    Unknowing of their blunder,
    Indiscriminate with their curses,
And as such know not good from evil.

Forgive the young, for they are still foolish.
    Unseasoned by winters,
    Unwounded by battles,
And as such know not of the keen edges of their swords.

Forgive the gods, for they see only the tops of the clouds.
    Ignorant of the earth,
    Blessed with eternal sun,
And as such have never known rain.

Forgive the beautiful people, for they are still children.
    Untarnished by disappointment,
    Unsoiled by rejection,
And as such have yet to know empathy.

    Om...

Maybe the insensitive and insulting attitude of musclejock18 as it is perceived in North America has something to do with where he lives: Dublin, Ireland

Other countries do have different attitudes regarding racism and political correctness.

    Hi Bernd

I thought about that. I once saw a bryant gumble story on real sports where soccer players of darker skin were subjected to a stadium of fans making gorilla noises and throwing bananas on the soccer field. In European countries. What struck me was that he said he calls his FRIEND..BLACKIE!
You almost have to laugh, could you imagine if you and I were friends and I just blurt out hey Whitey/cracker....

The gorilla noises and thrown bananas upset lots of people in Europe as well, far to many soccer-fans are not particularly sensitive to racial issues. I think in general that European countries are more sensitive towards their own minorities (ie. Turks in Germany, North-Africans in France, Indians in the UK) than towards black people. If musclejock18's friend allows him to call him "Blackie", maybe it doesn't carry that stigma as it does in the US. Maybe you've heard of the "Black Irish"? Referring to Irishmen with black hair I think.

About you calling me Whitey/cracker, I'd prefer 'toast'icon_wink.gif

In response to the continuing humorless egotism and arrogance of the self-imposed ruler and dictator of the forums, it is hereby decreed that any such future posting of faux forum rules are to be ignored and dismissed. Such postings shall be deemed themselves an AUTOMATIC FAIL as said self imposed forum policy maker does not rule here nor speaks for us all, mattering not how popular he is.

And when did an outlaw, outcast group become so prim and judgmental? There is no decorum on the edge . . .

Where to begin, prim and Judgemental? That's funny I can barely contain myself! How many times do you address your friends by calling them names that only demean them. Usually as friends your objective is to be supportive hence the term friends other than that I'd lean towards the other end of the scale enemies. Prim would be the fact that anyone would excuse such behavior. Maybe you need to rethink a reply such as the one you posted. As a group of people in your words of outcast/or outlaws I would think that those subjected would be more understanding of the infliction of actions towards those not like them but I guess that's a judgement call on my part

I love drama just as much as the next gay person, but you are reaching here. I read the guy's post and he wasn't being serious. He was maybe trying to pawn himself off as super sophisticated and above "p c" concepts. It wasn't attractive, but by no means was he being serious.

    In my opinion....

In my opinion by making a whole new thread you stirred up too much drama from what it is, Hillie. Don't you agree that maybe you should just reply in that topic alone like you did earlier and hope to see the issue bumped or discussed? Or better yet, wouldn't be much better and healthier to just send to musclejock18 a private mensage saying that was totally uncool and unnecessary?

But you didn't, in my opinion, it makes sense that by reading musclejock18's post you felt a great deal of self righteous anger. That's not healthy because what you did is just venting frustration. The way you channeled that frustration was, in my view, childish, to the point of peskyness. Do you think you helped things get better? I don't think so. As a social being, please refrain from making unnecessary hate stirring. In my opinion, what you did was pretty much disproportional. I would say to deal with your frustration on a personal level and before going to the social dimension.

I find these foruns amazing because I actually found myself in your position sometimes, this environment approaches lot's of subjects and issues that are very sensitive to me. What I do is expressing my opinion as clear, as drama-free, as eloquent as possible (which can be a VERY challenging task that sometimes I fail to do it) if people comment what I say, great, it's something worth mentioning after all, if not I would not stumbornly make a whole new topic venting whatever my frustration, I would just shut it and REactively taking whatever the next opportunity shows up.

In short, in a social setting I think it would be best to let the social and not the personal being drive you. Or else some unnecessary things are said and needless conflits arise.

Read the guys profile. In it he states he comes from a dysfunctional family and further goes on to say that he can't seem to maintain relationships. Hence the saying: "The apple doesn't fall to far from the tree"
But honestly, I don't think he meant it to sound the way it did. Its dam hard on the internet to interperet voice inflections, body language, etc when guys respond to things.

    Ignore Ignore Ignore

Don't waste your time nor fill your head with nonsense.

He may be as idiotic as you think..........or maybe he isn't. You just don't know since this is the internet and you have no benefit of actually seeing/hearing and interacting with him.
