ok so getting set up by straight friends is probably the worst ever. the only reason they set u up is because ur both gay not because u actually have anything in common plus getting set up in general is pretty annoying. does anyone know how to make a set up date less awkward?

No matter how the date was initally set up, your best bet is to go in as a willing participant to do no more than have fun! It should be about meeting people to meet that someone. So I would talk to this guy find out his likes and intrest. Plan a date where you guys can do something that will peek your intrest and motivate you two to create a dialouge. Have fun
