yet still use a tangible day planner for all your social/work events??

despite public mockery/threats, flipping through menus takes too much time. keep it archaic yo.

Actually I still use Palm products after 10 years, which sync to my Mac computer. I had previously used paper Daytimer brand organizers for nearly 20 years, bought the least expensive Palm to see if I would use it, or if it would end up in a drawer. I've never been without one since, and no longer use Daytimer.

My current one has GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, MP3 player, and all kinds of neat apps for shopping and personal management, even one that has movie reviews and cast members for every major motion picture since the silent era.

I have a Blackberry Storm and the keyboard produces this type of gibberish unless you have tiny pointed fingers. Fortunately it has a utility that guesses the actual word you wanted to type and lets you select it.
I'd never use it for anything more than basic messages.

I love my Blackberry Bold. Although, the fake chrome is now starting to wear off around the edges. LOL!!

The only written "planner" I use is my journal for work. I use it to take notes in meetings, make to-do lists, phone messages, notes from out on the job site, etc... It gives me an accurate record of each and every day on the project so I can track it later - and carry it with me. I tried to do it on a tablet computer at first, but that doesn't work in the Caribbean sun too well when your job site is mostly pure white sand!

My BlackBerry is my social networking device + my phone. I'm fairly good at keeping track of events and other sorts of important things mentally, so that's not the problem. I'm getting a new one because my Curve is slow and lagging and I hate that G-d damn spinning hourglass!

I use a Blackberry Curve. It's corporate tool for my job.

I have a love/hate relationship with it. It is so convenient to be able to keep all of my contacts in my work Outlook, and it automatically synchs up to my Blackberry.

However, the hate comes in when it becomes so intrusive, and people who use blackberry messenger begin expecting you to respond instantly all the time, and if you don't, they have a fit.

Good thing about it is, it's paid for by my employer icon_smile.gif

I got a Motorola Q about a year ago trying to be "thrifty", since at the time I didn't need Internet or the fancy stuff that comes standard with Blackberries (Blackberrys?) or Palms or iPhones or other smart phones. God, what a mistake. It's an atrocious phone. I've now got the data package and the whole shebang, and it just sucks. I am eligible for a new phone next March and I'm sincerely hoping and praying that Apple releases the iPhone early for other carriers. I've heard rumors that Apple hasn't been completely satisfied by AT&T and they are considering opening the phone for other carriers before the 2 year exclusivity is up. Anyone know anything or heard anything about that? Anywho, if that's not the case, I dunno what I'll do. I love Apple products, but also love Verizon. So we'll just have to see....

I have a Blackberry and I do like it. Every phone has problems, including the dang iPhone, which has issues. I am waiting for feedback on the Palm Pre cause my contract is almost up.

I use my Blackberry calendar like crazy. I rely on it for everything.

I love my Blackberry Bold. LOVE IT! I use it for everything. I keep my entire life in there, calendar, contacts, email, etc. It's the best. No need for anything else. icon_biggrin.gif

I'd love to have an i Phone except that they are only available on the AT&T network and in my area of Southern California, their cell service can be very "spotty."

Putting my entire life on the MS Exchange Server at work bothers me because of privacy issues and I'm weary of coding those personal events. If I don't do this, I end up with two calendars - work and personal. Ever scheduled yourself to be in two places at the same time?

true, and the iphone is GSM technology which requires a SIM card while other networks like Verizon are CDMA hence uncompatible with the phone, hate when they dont make up their minds with the standards in the industry.

Happy with my BB curve. I prefer it to the iPhone which is a much worse... phone, though the other applications are great.
