So after consulting with those who replied to my last post, here is what I propose.

Date: Saturday, July 11th

Time: 7pm

Location: Thai Passion (Seventh and Congress)

I figure we can grab some dinner, and if any of you are up for it, meander to any of the bars or clubs (gay or straight). There paramount is also having it's summer film series, but I thought starting out with dinner in a central location is a good start. Anyone object to the date, time, or place? I'm totally open to changing stuff if need be. Also, I'll be driving down from Hyde Park with another RJer, but am totally fine with giving people rides (he doesn't drink so he makes an excellent D.D. if you're worried about getting sloshed). Let me know if you're coming so I can get an estimate of how many to make a reservation for.

I have "tentive" plans to be in Dallas for thier Pride. However....the person I made the plans with has flaked on me about 90% of the time so I will get back to you early this week. Honestly....this sounds MUCH better.

Well my schedule just happens to be screwed up that day. Looks like I would not be able to make it until about 9 - 9:30. I could possibly push for about 8:30 though if I rushed.

I will totally see what I can do. I work that night unfortunately but that doesn't mean I couldn't get out of it. I'll try!

Well, we're thinking of going out to grab some drinks afterward, so if you can't make dinner, you're more than welcome to catch up with us after too.

Awww man! You would do this right after I left town. I made my first visit to Austin and returned home to NY last week. Like the city alot and would've been cool to meet other RJers while in town.

Aren't you moving from Austin as of August 1st?

Yeah, I move out August first, which is why I gotta get this thing going now before I never get a chance to hang with all these peeps.

Well I missed the dinner part but it was fun meeting the three of you at the Rusty Spur. Calibro, JockChefJim, and I don't know the screen name of the other one.

I'm still laughing at the 'lesbian lifting'.
