I'm sorry for your loss, Adam; mine also passed away two weeks ago. It's tough. May you find comfort from your memories of her.

When they are with us, there is always "later", when they are gone there was never enough time....I think we can all relate and understand. Don't beat yourself up over this...we have all been or will all be there at some point. My condolences to you and your family. Keep the memory pure and happy. Don't cloud and poison the memory with regrets......Now get off of the net and go spend some time with others that are missing her and "feeling guilty" or hurt over something...icon_cool.gif

I'm sorry that you have to go through this.
Don't blame yourself for not visiting more often.
Regardless of who it is, life tends to separate us.
    Hugs.

My grandmother was 69 years old when I was born, and she raised me. She was so very dear to me.
But, she slipped away into alzheimers.
Still she made it to 96 years old.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss. Don't feel bad about not seeing her since 2008, I'm sure she knew you loved her very much and that's all anyone can ask.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am also sorry to hear of yours passing too. She wasn't only my Grandmother, she was my mother too. When my mother passed in 1995 she became my mother.

Time is surely the great healer, but it DOES TAKE TIME!....My Grandmother passed away at age 89 on Leapday (Feb 29) of 2004...I only think of her every third or fourth day now and of course all holidays!......Facebook over the holidays, especially since most of my family is on there, is a near "memorial" of what our family misses about Grandma and Grandpa....It's not sad,,,it is at times laugh-out-loud funny, but still poignant....we all miss them. Some days, and I am not the only one in the family that has admitted to doing this, I pick up the phone and start to dial her old number, until I realize what I just did....really, it just feels like she is on a long vacation and is out of cell phone contact....LOL! Keep your pics and vids and all your memories...share them and keep her "spirit" alive for yourself and for others that love her....I bet she'd love the attention! icon_cool.gif
