Why does it all the sudden seem like when I dont exercise for even a short span of like two days I start to feel depressive like symptoms? I feel like I become more irritable than usual and sometimes almost angry at dumb stuff.? Do I have depression or somethin and the exercise is just holding it off? God forbid I break my leg or something and cant exercise i feel like id have a mental breakdown....

My guess is, you are probably a pretty structured person. If you miss your workouts, your insides tell you .. "you aren't being responsible in your fitness", "your not making progress", etc, etc.. lots of things which are a little over the top.

The reality is, fitness should be a priority, but you need to give yourself some flexibility. If you can't do your regular workout... plan to do some cardio at home, supplement your workout. Don't rag on yourself, just do the best you can.

I know how that is, but be balanced in your daily life, if you get stressed out,
your going to do far more damage...

Sure, I get antsy if I have to skip a workout. I consider that feeling a good thing. . . it means I've made my workouts a part of my life.

Always be happy and grateful that you're healthy enough to workout!

With me it is 1-2 days, not weeks. After a few weeks I feel like the blob. icon_eek.gif

yea...its not that im dissapointed in myself for not being "structured" or w/e that dude said. I would love to go three, four days of doing nothing but being a lazy fat ass. But i start to feel mentally horrible. I feel like im gettin depression symptoms and its frustraing bc when i go on vacation i dont want to have to exercise, id rather just relax. But when i dont exercise i get all tired and not fun to be around and i DONT MEAN to be like that, it just comes over me...Anyway, i just wanted to know if anyone else felt like shit after lack of exercise?

LOL IM NOT STRUCTURED AT AAALL. I never plan anything, and im always playin it by ear. Sometimes i wont even realize that I hadnt exercised in a while until i start feeling anxietty and the blues and ill realize "oh shit, i havent exercised since last monday, now it makes sense that i feel like this!!" lol
